Wedding Budget

My fiance's decision

5,000$ is a pretty modest budget- especially with 10 people in your bridal party. I would suggest that you sit down and research costs in the following areas and then set a budget...Floral, Church & Reception hall costs, Catering, Photography, Alcohol, and Attire. We originally guessed the Wedding would cost us 8,000$, Then came 10,000$ as we researched our area- Well today 6 months out we are at 12,000$ for a pretty modest 80 guest Wedding with 1 attendant each!

I honestly could not do it haha, you better have good connections or a small guest list lol. its not like its not possible...is so tottaly is and you can make it work but guys pretty much have no clue when it comes to weddings hahaha

i couldnt do it eaither! =) MINE IS 15000 AND I SECRETLY UPPED IT TO 20000. =) my mom just doesn't know yet BUT im in california and things cost way toooooo much! hopefully things are cheaper there =) i have seen brides on here work their wedding with a budget so IT CAN BE DONE!

LMAO @ 22011bride.... my budget was $15,000 too and I secretly uped it to $20,000 lol. I think my FH should of gave me a $10,000 budget so id actually be on track... he hasnt caught on yet i guess lol. Weddings here are expensve too.... my friend is getting married on $8000 and she is doing a fab job!!!

well, Kristy, my fiance's dad is a preacher so that part will be free! Thank goodness! The church may also be free, we aren't sure because we don't want to use his dads. We also don't drink so there won't be alcohol at the reception, that cuts out another expense, haha. My wedding party will pay for their own dresses and tuxes. So far we are doing pretty good, but we haven't gotten to the real expensive stuff yet. I think my fiance would pretty much kill me if I decided to spend $20,000 hahaha!
