We are getting married in November and really hope for snow. I looove the cape/shawl look but Im torn!

Should I get a cape or a shawl? I have a shawl right now that was given to me, so its not like that money came out of my budget, but I dont know if I love it enough. I also dont know if I love capes!

What would you do?

I think it would depend on your dress..you dont want it to take it away from the beauty of the dress, just add to it..so if your dress is intricate with lots of detail go for the shall if is simple and elegant go for the cape..either way the are both dramatic and beautiful!

Hmm, cape might be warmer...and you know it can be freakin' cold here in November.

is the reception outside? I would do both lol...wear the cape when you get really cold and the shawl for when ur not.... you might not be cold when your up dancing around and mingling with guest but may be cold when your just sitting down not doing much ( if theres ever time lol) I just went to my friends wedding and she had a fur shawl and it looked soo adorable! and I agree with the other ladies the long cape might take away from your dress so it really does depend on your dress too =)

i love that wrap! looks like it'd be warmer as well. but you might be able to get something designed differently that can cover more. i found a photo of it off the internet (although it's small, you can see what i'm talking about)

I like the shawl. I am trying to find a black one to match my dress. (it has black lace on it) I think the look more vintage and tres chic. (did I say that right?)

Check ebay! When they are selling from China they are about $20.00 each. And pretty nice quality!
