Soooo we finally sent out our engagement party thank you cards...like 3 weeks later. Man what a long process. I was told that when you send out thank you cards you shouldn't use generic thank you cards, but send personal cards. So i came up with the idea of taking pictures (we created a little backdrop and had props for them to use) of all the guests as they came in and use those pictures for the thank you cards with a little personal note. if the guest didn't take a picture we used a picture of us with a personal note. We did this all on the computer using microsoft publisher, turned them into jpeg files and printed them out using walgreens.com.
so far we have only heard good things about the cards
