Ask a Question
Shades of Blue?
What the crap!? I typed up this long entry and the website crashed. Now I have to re-type it!

This is one of the locations we're seriously considering. I know I want a blue wedding.

Which shade of blue would you use at this site? What about an accent color?

I'm thinking a royal or navy blue with pale yellow and light pink flowers. Yes? No? I'm really bad with design! So please, give me your honest input.

P.S. I really hope this location will be big enough. When I stoppped by to look at it this morning, beautiful birds were chirping and hopping around the chapel. I LOVED it.

Since the walls are so blue I would consider using blue as your accent color so that its not overpowering on everything and play up the undertones of the design witht he pale pink what looks like in the design

check out stylemepretty.com for color combination ideas.

The place looks so good though. Your photos will look amazing. Very Native American feel. Love it.

i think the picture is funky. the walls are very definately grey. It's concrete.

Honestly... and maybe this is weird... but I would go with a pool type blue.  I don't know what time of year you are getting married but this site is gorgeous and I envisioned a bright blue.  I am really amazed at the first pic!  I love it!

I would go with a pool blue also. The navy with the pink and the yellow could be a little harsh. If you go with a lighter shade  of blue you could add your other colors without it over powering the space.
This place us gorgeous!! Very whimsical dream like!! Good luck!

I agree with pool blue! But alas, it's my wedding color so of course I love it! But no, another one is "cornflower blue". Go to a wedding shop and ask for some swatches so you can see colors together. Don't trust pictures on your computer because all moniters show colors differently!!

pool blue was my original color choice, but i'm not sure if it goes with this location. Maybe I'm wrong, and you are right! Wouldn't surprise me. Seriously, colors aren't my strong point.
