I did Stuff!
Today I got my planning binder all set up and organized. It's very pretty.

I decided to split it into 16 categories including everything from food and attire to receipts and a calendar. There's a place for guest response info., I included a bridesmaid section, and even created a "Kevin's Stuff" section. It rocks!!

Aside from that, we met with an officiant today and really like his ceremonies and feel that his personality compliments Kevin and me as a couple. We'll book him as soon as we can come up with the money. (We just put the deposit on our photog this weekend, so funds are limited.)

Also.. I filed my taxes and am happy to be getting some money back. It will go straight to the wedding fund!! Plus, next month the stimulus checks should come.

OMFG TAXES!!!! ugh I totally forgot! I always put it off til the last minute because I always have to pay extra. I totally hate that the government is penalizing single people who are successful!

but also wow 16 sections!!! I thought mine had a lot of sections. You'll be organized to a T!

and I'm totally jealous of you having your officiant picked, I have been putting that off as well.

Funny, I did the same thing over the past week.  It only took a day, and I already had a note keeping system, but that notbook was way too small.  I had a traditional wedding planning book that a friend gave me, but it just wasnt really helping.  I love ,y new & improved binder!  It also has lots pf sections & my updated info.  Congrats on getting organized!  It's such a great feeling!

AHHH! Your wedding is only 2 months before mine is and you have soooooo much done already!  I need organization like that! All we have done is set the date and pick the colors.... :-/  How long have you been planning?

I can't wait until this semester of school is over and I can organize a wedding binder!  Did you buy one of those pre-made ones from like target or whatever?  Or did you make your own?  I am a paradox within myself in that I am obsessed with organizing and I love doing it and making lists, etc. but fdI'm a very unorganized person by nature.  Good for you for being on the ball!!
