This is chloerichard's Purple Wedding!

These are my inspiration colors for my wedding. What's great is I never even had to ask myself what I wanted, I already knew! I doubt I'll be changing my mind, but I guess you never know. I may still become a bridezilla!

NAME: Chloe Emmanuelle Richard

I'm a tiny person with a big personality. I'm a nursing assistant and I've just always loved taking care of people! I have a great big crazy family (we're 20 in the immediate family!) and we're all very close. I'm the youngest of 5 children, and the last to get married! I never knew I wanted a wedding until I met the man of my dreams :)

It's obviously a gorgeous, romantic flower, and the white ones look like they were created for weddings. As a bonus, they look great on a cake, and they look great with purple orchids (I want orchids because both my Nana and my mom had them) so technically, I would love calla lilies as an accent in my bouquet and in the decoration. But are they cheesy and déjà vu? Would people think I'm tacky for using a wedding flower that isn't original at all? I'm probably still going to use them, but I want a second opinion!

So we decided to have the ceremony at l'Église Saint-Viateur in Outremont (Montreal). Honey wasn't 100% sure that he wanted a church wedding, plus he's not from that part of town so he didn't know this particular church. But I guess I kind of won this battle :) This is the most beautiful church I know. It's been there for 100 years, and I was baptised there, and had my first communion and confirmation there as well. I think I always dreamed of getting married at the church I grew up in, and now my dream is coming true!

We took a couple days off and headed to my parents' country house on a private lake. We spent 2 wonderful sunny days together, drinking home made margaritas on the dock and just enjoying our alone time. At sunset on the second day he gave me a beautiful ring with his birthstone and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. The ring is simple and elegant, yellow gold with a topaz solitary between two small diamonds.
