No favors.
So, I had some ideas before about favors. We were looking to use small buckets, a subtle beach touch, and fill them with Swedish fish. However, we bought some of the fish for the engagement party and they were not very pretty, so we discarded that idea. Then we thought maybe we'd replace the fish with coconut Jelly Bellies and aqua/turquoise M&Ms. After looking up the prices and thinking about the work that would take, and the likelihood of the buckets- and even the candy- being wasted, we've decided not to do favors. However, I will certainly try to think of something to provide my guests as a thank you for attending.

I went to a wedding once where they didn't give favors but made a donation with their favor money to a charity that was dear to them.  And then they announced that at the wedding.  It was nice.

how about giving a donation to a charity or even something like bubbles or sparklers which can double as a favor and a send off for you two. Or you can sprinkle wrapped chocolates on the table or such as.
check out www.candywarehouse.com

and http://www.foreverwedstore.com/  for cheap awesome favors. I really liked the mini chocolate bars which u can personalize!
