Wedding Cake

Finally!! lol we've decided and our baker has approved...check!

hello there beautiful ones :)

So FHubby and i have had some trouble deciding on a cake for the big day, we had gone for cake tasting and choosing some time last year and thought we had found "THE CAKE" but as time went on we grew out of love for the cake we had chosen.

The tradition here concerning the cake is that the brides side pays for it, so this time around when we went to visit our cake baker a lovely Indian lady :), we were considerate on the price so that my peoples dont hustle too much lol so since she charges per tier we settled for the cake in the picture :) its a fruit cake, four tier in our colors apple green and purple and the roses at the top will be edible :).

She's going to add four single cakes around the main cake and these are the ones we will give to our parents and our pastors to show our gratitude (an old time Zambian wedding tradition lol) and there will be two extra cakes cut up for our guests to be put in their favour boxes will post about that soon once we have them made as a DIY project whooo hooo!
