Wedding Photography
I am trying to add soome pictures of my wedding but it's not working!
I am wondering if anyone knows how anywhere in Ontario (Kitchener, Brantford, Hamilton, Toronto areas) that does those coffee table photo books. I own the rights to my photos and really want to get one done but I am not sure who does that. I remember seeing some people at those wedding shows but I don't remember who they are and of course I threw out most of my wedding stuff after the wedding was over. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it!!! |

backup plan for rainy weather?
I am wondering if anyone has a backup plan for rainy weather in the K-w, Cambridge area. our reception is at a golf course but I have absolutely no ideas for backup plans. Any ideas????

Wedding Invitation
is it too early to send them out?
I finished my invitations today. They look great! I was wondering do you think it is too early to send them out? I am getting married in July and it only a couple of weeks shy of three months to the date? Should I wait a couple more weeks or go ahead and mail them out now?
thanks! EDIT: Now I just realized I forgot all about hotel slips and I don't think they will fit in my invitations (the invitation has a pocket on the back). Is there another way I can send out the word about the hotel without having to send the hotel slips??!?!?!? |

Honeymoon
It is four months to the wedding, and I feel like this is the calm before the storm. Everything that I can think of is being looked after and we have no more major tasks until a month from now.
Right now we are trying to decide on our honeymoon and it seems like it is a bit of a toss and turn on this one... We started off wanting to go to Italy until the travel agent told us that it is high season in july and I will be surrounded by thousands and thousands of tourists, which right away turned me off because I hate crowds and pushy people more than anything reall. Then we moved on to Ireland. that looks nice and all but not really sure. Then I thought of Alaska or BC and a wilderness lodge but they are also expensive and for what to stay in a camp and use a portypotty. not good. Then I was in love with going to Hawaii, so sold on that and I knew that it was expensive but did not know how expensive it is and that we would have to do island-hopping to get our money's worth which is $$... so now leaves Spain and Portugal which the travel agent is really pushing. (maybe she gets commission on selling Spain and Portugal j/K) I don't know if Portugal would be my thing but Spain definitely looks amazing... Does anyone have any ideas? I don't want the usual Mexico, Jamaica, DR, etc as we usually go to one of these places in the cold, dark, depths of February. |

regaining control and composure...
I could be the only one out here like this but does anyone else feel like every step of the way they are being fighting with control on something ? a family member always has a different vision for "my" wedding?
Since we're only five months away now from the wedding, it is getting a bit better but since day one, I feel like I have not had full control. "people" keep playing the money card which is not fair since it is being paid by many people. and at points, it has made me reconsider maybe we should have just eloped - is this stress really all worth it for one day? The latest incident is a big one - the head table. Where I want it and where the wedding planner says it has to go (who is the expert), my family is opposed to because they say that it's too far away from the guests. The room is huge but we need to do something with the space, so the head table is on the other side of the dance table. basically the dance floor is separating the guests and the head table. but isn't that common, there is always some form of separation? Does anyone have any ideas to explain that this is completely normal? |

Shoes
final choice.
Okay, so the picture is not the greatest as the colour of pink is more of a hotter pinker pink than a rosey pink like inthe picture, but you get the idea.
I changed my mind AGAIN re shoes. Saturday was my first fitting so I am comitted to these shoes now. I am happy to have a colourful shoe. The other shoes I picked in the past simply were not doing anything for me. I especially love the strap because then I can't possibly fall out. :) the best part is now I can take my unused shoes back! Yayyy!!1 |
