I love my dress, it's perfect, so it's not the dress's fault...it's mine. I feel like a princess when I wear it...and the reflection in the mirror really isn't that bad either. But the pictures are a WHOLE different story!!!!
I see lumps in places I didn't think I had them. My arms are all jelly and swingy...it's GROSS! I used to be a size 2 and my dress they ordered me is a size 10! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know, for some of you a size 10 is great...well, I'm only 5'2"....so that's NOT great.
I'm so embarrased by these pictures I won't even send them to my bridesmaid's and I don't think I want to even post them on here for you ladies to have to see...
I've seen brides and other women who are bigger than me look stunning...for some reason, I look like shit. I don't look pretty, I look like a blimp and I will hate myself forever if I look like this on my wedding day! :-(
I'm so disappointed in myself...
i think this comment is actually directed at myself....LOL. Seriously, I hear it only takes 3 months to get in shape. WE CAN DO IT!
Do exercises with 2-5 lb dumbbells especially triceps to tone up your "jelly" arms. I know that you are working out really hard for your wedding...just think positive and do what you have been doing.
YOu got hella time, i would not be disappointed right now, and comparing yourself with other brides is hard but STOP!! lol. I got girls who have same dresses as me and they look stunning, but im not going to compare myself to them as i was doing in the beginning...because I told myself that "that's what i get for loving a dress that everyone and their mama is buying". lol.
Keep your head up!!
If you think bigger ladies look better than you in your gown know this...we wear serious support undergarments. Also, I lift weights with my arms while watching tv so I don't have too much wiggle. Read my tips for looking skinny on my page (it is about photography).
You can go to "herroom.com" and order undergarments. By all means I think you should post your pic here for us to give feedback. We will probably be able to point out that you look good and be able to tell you exactly what looks good (or doesn't). It's helpful that this is anonymous! Kinda....
I've decided to make small goals for myself. I have my friend's bachelorette party the first weekend in February and I am determined to lose SOME weight by then...not all, just some. Then I have her wedding in Jamaica in March, so I am determined to look decent in a bathing suit by then.
I can do this, I know I can. Forget the skinny thing, I just need to be HEALTHY!!!!
