No...not for my wedding, don't worry ladies!
My friend Kelly has requested that all her bridesmaid's do their own hair for her wedding in Jamaica...I'm a little stressed about it! We had some awesome hairstylists come and show us how to do different styles, so we've had some help.
The side ponytail seems to be easiest for me...so I've made an attempt.
I curled all my hair, then took a portion of the back of it and pulled it to the side with a rubber band. Then, using bobby pins, I pinned all the rest of it back and viola!
What do you think? I know I need to hide the bobby pins better, but all in all, not too shabby for a first attempt.
As a hairstylist let me give you some advice.
Make sure you take something for frizz just in case of humidity, because it can create havoc with your curls. A humidity resistant hairspray would be advisable as well. Sebastian Re-Shaper or Zero Gravity both are humidit resistant as is Matrix Sleek Look Spray.
Also a little tip to hide your bobbypins...when pinnning guide the pin straight into the scalp then push horizontal as you secure it in, that will help you to hide the head of the pin.
All in all you've done a great job...goodluck!
