Funny Wedding T-Shirts!
I saw one of these on our trip to New York City. The owner of the shop must have picked up on the fact that we were getting married because he recommended the "Game Over" shirt for Brian. Most brides might not think these are in good taste, but they crack me up.
I decided to look them up and it turns out there are a lot of them. I think I might get one for Brian this Christmas. He like funny shirts and he could always wear it to his Bachelor party! I am partial to the Hangman one...I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it! |

Day-Of Wedding Coordinator??
Does anyone know anything about this?
There just isn't enough time in aday...especially on THE day! I was crunching my time schedule and realized that I will have an hour to complete a task that will take me about 3.
Biggest Issue: Our ceremony site! There are two possible sites and we won't know until the week of or possibly the DAY OF what space we get. I want a professional so that they can just handle it and I don't even need to think about it. Brian has approved this splurge. He wants to me enjoy my day. Is this a service that is offered? Does anyone know anything about this? Know anyone that has done this? Cost? |

I bought it!!!!!!!
Ok, not the bracelets, but I bought the earrings and I couldn't be happier!
I found them at Target for $12.99 each and between 2 Targets, I was able to find all 5 pairs that I needed! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! They couldn't be more perfect and I don't think I could ahve found a better price. The best part? I wasn't even looking for them, but I walked by and they they were...I think I eve heard angels singing! LOL |

My Damask Decor
I love it, love it, love it!!!
The room is very dark (almost reminds me of a club atmosphere). There is a lot of black with accents of white here and there. So what better than damask decor??? NOTHING! :-) We will have white floor length linens on the 6 round tables. At each table, the centerpiece will be a vase full of apples. Around the centerpiece I want to put 4 4X6 photo frames of pictures of Brian and myself. Damask frames of course... in between each from will be a votive candle (4 on each table). I will also have Damask napkins and Damask menus. What do you think? I hope it all turns out great! :-) |

Sexy Bride?
Show a little skin!
While I was researching different photographers, I noticed that many of them are not only looking at the bride as "blushing" and "beautiful", but she has now become a sexy mama! Some Brides even have shots of them on their wedding day that could almost be considered a boudior shot!
My photographer is one of those that makes sure to get at least one shot of the bride showing a little skin. I personally love it...since I plan on being in the best shape of my life, it will help me to remember it 10 years a 30 pounds later! :-) Is this something that you think is kind of fun or inappropriate? |

HELP! Please Vote!!!!!!!
We (my FH, my in laws and myself) are arguing about what to serve at the Rehearsal Dinner. We get 4 options; 1 chicken, 1 pasta, 1 fish and 1 beef/pork meal. Please help us decide what is more "guest friendly". We want to make sure there is something on the menu for everyone!
CHICKEN: BlackFinn Chicken Boneless chicken breast sautéed in a white wine, garlic and butter sauce and placed atop a bed of sautéed spinach. Topped with melted provolone cheese. ****OR**** Chicken Balsamica Boneless chicken breast pan seared with portobello mushrooms and roasted red peppers in a light balsamic wine sauce. PASTA: Pasta Primavera Penne pasta tossed with fresh garden vegetables, a light marinara sauce and shredded parmesan cheese. ****OR**** Blackened Chicken Alfredo Blackened chicken breast tossed with penne pasta, diced tomatoes, red onion and a creamy alfredo sauce. FISH: Atlantic Salmon Fresh hand-cut filet of Atlantic salmon grilled and our original Chef's own honey dill glaze on the side. ****OR**** Fresh haddock filet topped with a light cracker crumb crust, baked and served with steamed broccoli, rice pilaf and fresh lemon. BEEF/PORK: BBQ Ribs A half rack of fall-off-the-bone, baby back ribs served with French fries and coleslaw. ****OR*** Grilled Steak Tips* 12oz of tender beef tips marinated in our signature Guinness® marinade and grilled to order. Finally! It's going to be ALL mine!
I have had numerous posts about this dress that I have been in love with for over 6 months now. For the most part, I was pouting about how I couldn't afford it. not anymore!
Thanks to WBC bride IrishPocahontas, I can buy my dream dress! She told me about Marisa Nicole Bridal, a store based out of Minnesota that sells authentic dresses for a VERY low price. Sure enough, I can get my dress for $1,300!!! That's a savings of $600 from what I managed to hagle the other shops down to (they wanted $2,500 at first! This shop has great reviews and guarentees that you will receive an authentic dress, if not...she will return it. She was great about getting back to me and is SUPER friendly and personable.
