Favor Tag- Vistaprint Business Cards
Ok, I used the monogram in one more place- the favor tags, lol. Vistaprint was having a sale for 250 business cards, so I just used the business cards as favor tags! I plan on using a hole puncher at the corner of the tag and attaching it with a personalized ribbon! I'm getting too excited about it!
In additon to the cookbook, we will have a few small favors- bags with bubble tubes and two personalized hershey kisses in them (http://www.candycoatedweddings.com/id31.htm) I borrowed this idea from mrspatton2b- she's very creative! |

Aisle Runner Finished & Cake Napkins in!
I finished my aisle runner. In the picture, it's folded so that you can see the top part (Two shall become one) which will be near the atlar-where we will exchange vows- and the bottom of the aisle runner has our wedding logo.
I also got our cake napkins in from stationarystudio.com- they came in really quickly! I think I'm done using the monogram on stuff- don't want to overdo it! Well, maybe I'll also put it on the the programs, but no more after that, lol. The aisle runner is featured on unpredicatblebride's website: http://myprintablebride.blogspot.com/p/monograms.html Check it her out- she's great! |

~100 Days and Aisle Runner almost done!
Hi Ladies!
Time flies- can't believe that I'm about 3 months away from the big day. I still have a lot to do, but I'm ready for the challenge. Attached is a pic of my aisle runner. I still need to do some edits to it (one of the sankofa hearts is thicker than the other), and I'm hoping to do that this weekend. I'm also adding "Two shall become one" -Genesis 2:24 at the top of the aisle runner (near where we will be exchaning vows). |

Wedding Favors
Cookbooks as wedding favors?
Hi Ladies,
I'm trying to decide on what wedding favor to use. Since my fiance' first "courted" me by cooking dinner for me every Sunday- I was thinking of giving our guests a cookbook full of signature recipes from us, our family and friends. We were also thinking of including deceased relatives' signature recipes in the book as a memorial. Also, we would include a little insert discussing how Chris courted me with his cooking. I was thinking it would be meaningful to us and our guests. I'm not sure if it would be expensive to get cookbooks printed though... Other options I was looking at were personalized mint tins and wedding pens: www.weddingpen.com http://www.beau-coup.com/personalized-mint-tins.htm What do you think? |

Wedding Dress
Wedding Dress Decided!
I just put the down payment on my wedding dress! It's Casablanca 1957. I wasn't sure about it at first, but then I realized the dress has the same sankofa symbol that we're using in our wedding logo, and that convinced me it was "the dress." (plus it was on sale). Now, I just need to lose a few lbs (or buy spanx) to get more of an hourglass shape. What do you think?

Ask a Question
What's the best way to incorporate your wedding logo?
WBC unpredicatable bride created our wedding logo and I love it! The logo incorporates the sanfkofa(curvy heart) symbol, which is a theme for our wedding. The sankfofa represents the benevolent use of knowledge and experience in a new marriage so that happiness may prevail. The symbol reflects the Akan belief that the past serves as a guide for planning the future. Now we have to figure out what things to put this beautiful logo on... Aile runner, napkins, STD, any suggestions?
