Wedding Flowers
DIY Bridal Bouquet and Boutonniere's
Ok, so going into this I had no clue how expensive flowers are. I quickly learned. One day on one of our trips to the city for wedding decor my mom and I decided to go into a local Hobby Lobby store. JACKPOT! All of their floral stems and wedding decor was 50% off that week. I found the most beautiful life-like roses I have ever seen. They are by True Touch Floral. They feel and look just like a real rose. I actually found myself smelling them! But, no luck on that one. Since our actual ceremony is going to be simple I didn't want a large bouquet. I chose to go with 4 pink roses and 4 white gerbera daisies. I made my bouquet and I love it. I don't think I would be happier with any other. My BM's are going to carry one single pink rose that is tied with light pink ribbon. I also bought the matching closed roses to make all of the boutonniere's. I am so proud of myself. To me it makes everything that much more special because I did it myself! What a lucky man my husband to be is!
If you have any questions on how I did anything just ask. The total for everything was around $30. |
