I have been trying to locate inexpensive flip flops for the girls to switch to for the reception/dance. I found a bunch that were within my price range for 4 bridesmaids and they still look really cute. I might add some little flowers to the strap or some pink lace ribbon. I wanted to get the ones from Old Navy but since my sisters wedding in 2006 they have changed the style and I dont really like theirs anymore. I dont know what to do..I have two that are tall and thin and I kinda wanted tea length dresses or a more sliming strapless dress, then I have my sister in law who is like me...shorter and built more and heavy on top and she picked out a two piece halter top with a pick up skirt which really looked good on her, then I have my MOH who wants a long dress with straps. I dont know what to do, I know they are the ones paying for them but I dont want it to look off balance. What are your bridesmaids wearing??

I have note books and books, and magizines, but I cant seem to get organized. How are you girls all doing it?

We cant sell the alcohol because our place doesnt have a liquar license but I was thinking of having an open bar with a few drinks and bottled beer or a few kegs compared to just buying it all in bulk and having family bartend. My cousin just got married at the same place and they had a crap load of alcohol and their friends were getting out of control drunk. Do you think if I had a real bartendar people would try to contain themselves? I dont know what to do. What are you girls doing?

Awhile ago some of you ladies had posted about the rock verson of Canon in D and I was just wondering if anyone is really thinking about it or has been to a wedding where someone did use it. Im asking because Im really thinking about and I let my mom listen to it and her eyes got HUGE and was like "your grandparents will come unglued". Just wondering your thoughts on it. If you dont know what Im talkin about go to www.youtube.com and type in Canon in D and you'll see a kid with a guitar click and play that. I love it but Im kinda worried what it might do to my 100 year old great grandmother.. LOL.....

I want to dye mine pink but I dont know where to get one, I looked on Ebay buts its so hard to see the pictures that well, and Im scared to buy from there. I need a VERY full one because my dress is like a ball gown. I know they are pretty cheap on ebay but Im just scared Im gonna get it and it not be the right one. Does anyone know of where to find them for a reasonable price? I did some surfing and found they can be like 100 bucks or more.

We are getting married at an old historical Fort and I was just wondering if any of you ladies had any ideas for decor. My colors are pink, green, white. I want it to look soft and simple but elegant. Any ideas would be great!

We are considering having our wedding at a Historical Park in SD but for us it is about an hour and a half to drive. The ceremony and the reception/dance will be there. Im just worried Im going to be making like a dozen trips up there the first few days before and nothing is going to go right. Are any of you traveling out of your home town to have your wedding?

I DID IT!!! I had to print it and then scan it, but thats ok. The April 30th 2004 is our orginal date when we elopped, and the July 4th 2009 is when were are renewing our vows. This isnt exactly how it will look, the April 30th wont be on there and it will say "Save the Date" and all that other good stuff

I had first went to Davids Bridal and I thought I had found THE ONE but I later went dress shopping with my mother in law and sister in law and ran across this one. It was the very first one I tried on and I fell in LOVE with it. Its a Maggie Sottero - Monalisa Royale. I ordered it back in Feb when we thought we were getting married Dec 20th 2008, but we later changed the date to July 4th 2009 due to the South Dakota winters.

Ever since Ross and I started dating he would always talk about getting married, he had just joined the ARMY and I was still in high school so it didnt seem too realistic. Finally done with school I moved to Fort Bragg NC and finally married the man of my dreams. It wasnt the wedding of my dreams though, so now almost 5 years later we will be having our religious ceremony for all of our family and friends. I picked July 4th 2009, not sure we will get a good turn out but who cares. It will all be worth it in the end. I have a wedding band very much like that one but I dont have the engagement diamond. Im not much of a jewelry person.
