We finally found a photographer that is available for our wedding date!! And he is only charging us $500 and a free engagment session :D the only ones I could find that were available were going to cost us $5000, I love Kijiji.ca !!! lol

Ok, so here is the story.

I am adopted, and I know my biological parents quite well. However they havent really been "in" my life. So I have decided that I will not be having a seperate father daughter dance with my biological father.

But my adoptive parents got divorced when I was 6, and my adoptive dad moved to Quebec. My mother was in a few bad relationships when I was younger. But now she has gotten remarried and the man she married is an awsome guy. He has only been in my life for about 3 years. both my Biological Father and Step Father will be walking me down the Isle because I am close to both of them. And we will have 2 dancces for father daughter. My problem is that I cannot find an appropriat song to dance with my stepfather to, All the ones I can think of are about being little and growing up with them, but he's only been in my life such a short tim...any suggestions??

My flower girl dresses arrived today!! so exciting! I am thinking about removing the bow in front, what do you think? does is look bad? The picture is of my neice she is the younger flowergirl.

Okay, so we are having quite a big wedding party, I have 4 bridesmaidsm he has 4 groomsmen and we have 2 flower girls and 2 ring bearers. Now here is my dilemma, how do we make the ring bearers both do somehting special? I had one suggestion, where they would each carry a ring on a pillow and one give one ring to the MOH and the other give a ring to then BM. What do you ladies think?

I am so excited! I picked up my dress this weekend. I am very impressed with it, it fits perfect...right now. lol. and now the wedding planning seems like it is actually going somewhere!!

I was searching for some wedding stuff and came accross these. I have never thought of doing this before, at first I thought it was a little crazy, but now I think it would be cute. I mean I know how much I love my FH and I know how much he loves me, and as for our guests well oviously they know we love each othere (or else we wouldn't be getting married) lol. So today I ordered my dress!!! I am soooo excited!! And it is only $250!! It is being made exactly to my size, and will be here in 2 months! What do you think?

So we have decided that we are going to do a honeymoon registry, we don't really expect gifts, but we know we will get some. And we have lived together long enough that we don't need any household stuff. On this honeymoon site it is great because you can enter small amounts and numbers that we would like and this will cut down on our honeymoon costs!

So we have been engaged for about 2 years now and I have been waiting for this 1 Year mark, for a vary long time!! This is so exciting. Now I can do my planning and not have people bug me about the wedding being so far away. People still say it's a year away. Do you think it's to early to plan?

I saw these online and thought they were adorable, we are having a pretty small wedding so the price is pretty decent, they are about $2.30 each with additional cost for printing but I would do that myself.
