Wedding Countdown....1 day
I have one day left before my big day...... im ready. I can almost say im ready for it to be over with. I'm still not really stressing out. though i found out yesterday that one of my very close friends did not recieve her wedding invite. What bummer and she never called. I found out through my sister who is dating my friends brother. such a small world. so my friend was pist b/c she thought that i wasn't inviting her which she should have known better b/c i invite her to everything. anyways i also found out that my only grandpa is not coming to wedding. and when i asked why he just said he is not coming. So my godmother lives with him and i asked he why. she seems to think that b/c my grandmother is not alive thats reason why he is not going. she thinks it will be too hard on my grandpaw if he went b/c my grandmaw is not going to be there. And if you would have known my grandma she would have been the first one through the door b/c i was her baby girl. so its kinda of sad in a way. but i can understand. its also going to be a hard day for my FH b/c his mom will not be with us either. but i know everyone will be watching from above. they will have the best seat.

Wedding Hair Style
Trial run
I had my trial run this afternoon. i love it. I wasn't so sure about it as she was doing my hair. but after it was all over and done with i had a different reaction. Now all the curls are loser today. but for the big day everything will be tigher and held down better.and i will have her put a few more smaller curls in the back with more of it weving in and out of each other.but other than that it came out good. and the ribbon just added that extra umph( if that really is a word) to it.and i couldn't have bought a better headband than what i bought. Now i'm getting really excited for the big day and to get my hair done. my fh will love my hair. he picked out my hair style and he also said that he wanted the ribbon in it. I'm glad i listen to my gut and didn't change what i wanted.
oh another thing i wont have the ribbon like it is in some spots. where you see a lot of the ribbon. i don't like that. i will have her weve it through more curls. let me know what you ladies think |

Wedding Weather
it's going to be sunny
so the forecast for my area is a high of 84 with a low of 63..... which means it will be sunny. and i hope it will feel like it does today and yesterday. It feels like it's fall. its not so humid outside...... everybody knows that in the south it is humid. so hopefully the humidity can stay away until after the wedding would be nice.

Wedding Hair Style
trial run tomorrow
Im having my hair trial tomorrow. so ready. my two boys are coming with me and my sister(moh) to help with the boys and let me know what she thinks... i have a hair style in mind but not sure if i really want that now. i've been dead set on how i was getting my hair done and now i don't know if i want it like that. I can't wait i have 4 more days left till the wedding. Get this... my FH is at work and he works offshore. well, he is not coming home until friday morning. good thing i have a back up baby sitter for that friday (his sister) b/c friday is a girls day until we get to go decorate my venue. and Ohhh i can not wait until friday. Us Girls ( my mom, my moh and my bridesmaid) are all going eat lunch and have some drinks and get our nails done.

So i've been busy all day yesterday and today. I'm finding time out of my busy schedule this week to keep yall ladies updated. so i have been working on my backdrop. in the pictures is the flower pieces that will just hook on top of my backdrop. my backdrop is three doors with two columns.

Shouldn't the Bride be stressed out??
I can honestly say that im not really stressed out. i was last week but im not no more. My mom on the other hand. Is FREAKING out. I don't know what i can do to help calm her down. but i do know i do not want it to wear off on me. So she needs to stop.

8 days to go
can not believe it. 8 days until im mrs. richard......... its going to weird getting used to that. I should be used to it. b/c my boys doctors office call me that even though im not that yet.... so heres where i stand.
what i have left to do: find a slip for my flower girls dress make m&m favors trial run for my hair on tuesday figure out how i will hang lanterns find a baby picture of me and FH we have a picture of us together i need to go meet with justice of peace i need to call my aunt for the chocolate fountain i need to call my cousin for the roaster pot. we need to decorate arch i need to call the photographer i need to call the dj and i think that is about it. |
