I think I am just going to keep it. It is just going to sit in my closet, but a tradition in our family is to have my future little daughters try the dress on when they are about 5 or 6 years old and take pictures of them in it. Plus Brandon really wants me to keep it just in case one of our daughters will want to wear it - I doubt it because I would never wear my Mom's and my Mom didn't want to wear my grandma's, but maybe they can cut it up and alter it...
I am keeping mine....so that hopefully my daughter or granddaughter will want to wear it...I wanted to wear my grandmas wedding dress....but I dont get too :(
GIRRRLLLLL.... as much as my dress cost I was trying to sell it in the bridal salon during the fittings!! $$$$$$$$$$
But after it was all said and done, I can't part with it. I have one more party/reception for all the fam we couldn't have there, that's in July, and I am wearing it one more time. After that it will probably sit in my closet. :( My nephew who did our engagement photos wants to do a "destroy the dress" shoot, but I can't bring myself to do it. Maybe in a few more years! :)
keeping it!! i know my future daughter will not want to wear it, but like alybrand said, she may want to incorporate it somehow in the wedding or her wedding dress.
I like the idea of keeping it for a daughter. I would have loved to wear my mom's dress cause she was married in the 50's and it might have been in style again in a retro way but she eloped so she doesn't have one. I will probably sell it while it's still in style. Make it possible for another bride on a budget to have the dress she wants. Even if I do have a daughter and actually likes the dress, it might not fit. My fiance's a big guy, I might not have thin kids. Too many maybes. I might keep the veil for a future daughter though.
Actually that's a good question, I think I going to pay the $99 for the conservation and then I going to sell it back. Why I going to have the wedding dress, I'm not planning to use it again.

Gosh, I still don't know. Our house is pretty small right now and keeping a huge dress would be unwise. Also, my daughter will be pretty tall by the looks of it ( I am only 5'4", but husband is 6'4") and I doubt my dress would ever fit her. So I may sell it afterwards. Who knows...
I have been married once before and I kept my original dress for my daughter. Though I don't think she will wear it with styles changing. It is more of momento of her Mother to have as a keepsake. This time my wedding dress is going to be donated to Brides against breast cancer. It is a wonderful charity that helps brides who can't afford dresses and also helps grant final wishes to woman and men who are dying from cancer. Tax Deductible too.
