Anniversary Sale on Flower Balls and Center Pieces
Well, it is almost a year since my daughter got married and way past my first post on WBC. If it wasn't for all of the brides on this blog I would of never opened my Etsy shop. And I want to say thank you and give a 15% discount on any pomander/flower ball, bouquet or floral centerpieces, cake topper from now until June 30th. Woohoo!
My business is great, it keeps me very busy. I am not trying to use this blog as an avenue to promote my shop, I truly am doing this as an appreciation for all that this site has given back to me and the wonderful friends I have made from this site. I can not tell you how much I have appreciated all the nice things and encouragement you guys have given me in the last year, plus to top it off the orders too!. I know that a lot of you are new to this site, and maybe don't know me, but I have met the most beautiful people here that are honest, sweet and kind. There is no other site like this out there. I have included some pictures of what I have in my shop but there is lots more. I can usually do any custom flower ball, cake topper, bouquet that you are looking for if it isn't in my shop. I don't have a staff, or buy my stuff ready made, it is all handmade by me, and I love making each and every item knowing that it is going towards a brides special day. So here is the scoop, if you see something you like or want to know if I can make it, convo me via my etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/Cre8tivedesigns4u and put your WBC blog address in the message to get your discount. But remember, the orders have to be placed by June 30th. Again, thank you to all my fab brides on WBC http://weddingbycolor.com/soontobmrsb http://weddingbycolor.com/deneanrae http://weddingbycolor.com/gratefulbride http://weddingbycolor.com/gorgeous6 http://weddingbycolor.com/lagaylemarie who have helped me make my etsy shop the success that it is. And oh so many more! (this post is already getting too long! ) Stephanie |

Tutorial On How To Make A Cupcake Stand
I came across this tutorial in blog land and thought it was a good one. So I thought I would pass it along. I didn't do the tutorial, it is another Stephanie, (don't know her but I like her name!) she gives great instructions, and it seems simple and inexpensive enough to do. One of these days I will post a tutorial of my own on how I made the candy stands and cupcake stand out of boxes for gorgeous6.

Peacock & Damask Card Box
Hello brides! I wanted to show you this card box I did recently this week for a bride to be. She wanted the same style card box as I did for my daughter's wedding, (see previous posts) but in her colors with an addition of peacock feathers. Oh, and she was hoping to have it by this Saturday for her engagement party, and she lives in New York and I am in San Diego... but I am proud, I got it done and I was able to get all the elements she wanted on it. It was really hard to incorporate peacock feathers with black and white damask.. what do you think?

A REALLY cool site I found
Hello brides, I was surfing the net and just found this site that is so cool! It showcases really unique items for your wedding. It has a lot of Etsy sellers on it, but what is cool about it is that the pictures are larger and easier to see and it takes you right to the sellers page when you click on it. There isn't a ton of stuff on here, but I found many unique items that I never even knew that Etsy had. I wish I would of known about this site when my daughter was getting married! I have no affiliation with this site, just fell in love with it and wanted to share it with you.

Getting my kissing balls up on Etsy!
Hi Ladies, I have been putting off doing this and I am so happy to of started it today! I have had some requests for the kissing balls, but hadn't really put much thought into the price and the style. So little by little I am posting different styles and sizes. If you don't see anything today, keep looking it takes me awhile to get them up! I am slow at this :) Hopefully the longer kissing balls will be up today as well. I can cre8te any color, style and on a budget, just ask!
Thanks! Stephanie Cre8tiveDesigns4u http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7912491 |

Wedding Photography
WooHoo it is getting published!
Hello brides, the photographer from my daughter's wedding is going to use these photos for his ad in bridal magazines. The cool thing about it, is that the interior design is mine! Not only does my daughter and her new husband get published, so does my work! Not that anyone is going to call me up to do their interior design work through this ad but it is still exciting!
I also set up my esty account... I need a LOT of work to make it more appealing! My pictures aren't that great, I just can't seem to capture the beauty of the item, when I look at it in person, and see it in the photo, it just isn't the same. Oh well, in time I will get the hang of it. I am also offering my wedding consulting design service for brides (can be done through email, so you don't have to leave your computer!) , so check it out! Cylinder sleeves
Hello Brides, I was trying to utilize all the extra cylinders I have left over from my daughter's wedding, and so I decided to use some of them for my friend's 50th birthday party. So I sewed together sleeves to slide over the cylinder. It makes it so much easier to switch them out, and the fabric is still opaque enough that even if I wanted to put a candle inside it would still illuminate through the fabric. Or I can add fresh flowers. I think I might make more and put them on my etsy web page. The cool thing is, I can sew them to fit any size cylinder, so the options are endless.

Thank you Lisa for letting me make your cardbox
Hello Brides, since I had so many nice compliments on whether I should make card boxes for other brides I thought I would share with you the card box I did for WBC bride recently. She wanted black and white damask, with black and white roses. She was looking for an elegant vintage look. I love the way it turned out! Thanks again for all your nice compliments, and I am ready to do another one if there are any other brides interested :) I am really enjoying doing them. I am going to do some sample ones, so look for my posts soon!
