Wedding Dress
Found the one!
My best friend Melody came to Florida all the way from Texas this past weekend just so that we could go wedding dress shopping. We thought we were going to spend many hours looking, but it only took two hours. It was the second dress i tried on and after looking at myself with the dress on I knew it was the one. Melody really loved it as well. What i love the most is that it's a Maggie Sottero and I always knew i wanted one of her dresses. So here's the pic. I absolutely love it!
*One-piece, strapless, full A-line skirt with corset closure. Dazzling beaded embroidery create a marvelous sparkle throughout the bodice. DIY Wedding
Logos & Favor tags
Ive been super busy with work that i just started working on my favor tags.I started yesterday at 10 am and i finished them today at 10 in the morning. I didn't stay up the whole night, but i did stay up late. I finally got them the way i wanted them and i think they turned out great. I still need to fix them up a bit, but here is what i came up with. I really like our logo too. I decided to do it myself instead of paying someone to do it. Gillie likes it too so im completely satisfied. Here are some pics of my work. The pics aren't that great though. I'll take out my rebel later and take some good pics of all the stuff ive done so far. Let me know what you girls think.

Wedding Invitation
Found some i like...
now i just need to figure out what to do with them to give them color. I think im just going to send a sample to my sister Paro, and see what she comes up with. She's the creative one in the family so i know she will think of some thing good. I finished the DIY magnets, and i was very upset with my cheap printer. It kept moving so they got messed up, well at least the fancy ones did. The one's shaped as a ring came out pretty good. I will be mailing some out on Monday and i still need to work on the rest of them.Here are some pictures of what i bought.

Wedding Gift Registry
Target & JCPenney
I completely forgot to mention that Gillie & I went and registered at Target and JCPenney. We had so much fun. I let Gill do most of the scanning at the beginning, but then had to take the scanner away cause we was getting out of control. We had a great time and I'm just glad Gillie did to. Here are some photos of us messing around inside the store.

Great buys
So today i went out and did a little wedding shopping. I bought everything to make my save the date cards and i got a couple of gifts for the bridesmaids bags. Target right now has the bride and groom caps for only $3.48 each. I also got our luggage tags for only $2.48. The pictures aren't that great, but you girls get the idea.

What do you love most about your FH?
Since today is Valentine's, i thought id ask all you ladies what you love most about your soon to be hubby or your hubby? Anyone doing anything extra special for Valentine's?
-What i love most about my Gillie is that he will drop whatever hes' doing just to help me out with whatever im doing. I love how im his number one and how he puts me before anyone. This is the first time ive been in a relationship where its all about just him and I. Gillie is my best friend and I thank God for him everyday. I love how he was made just for me! |

How can anyone get tired of planning a wedding?
I just love looking through catalogs, searching online and doing anything that has to do with weddings. I don't see how anyone can get tired of planning their special day. I guess later down the road i might get tired and frustrated, but as of now i am too darn excited. I just can't wait for my days off to go wedding shopping. I love how Gillie gets real into it as well. He's actually been helping me with little details. I just hope everything goes well on my day. Are all of you still excited, or are you girls already sick of seeing wedding things?

I just realized that i never said what colors we're using. It's pretty obvious, but here it is. We are using Black and white damask with Maroon. Maroon is my favorite color so i can't imagine using any other color. Anyone else using these colors combined?

Wedding Rings And Jewelry
His ring
After many months of searching for a ring, Gillie finally chose one. We had a hard time since he wanted a thick ring all around. Well here it is. I will go order it this weekend. I really like it. I wanted to wait a while but we want to get all the major & expensive things first, and then worry about the little things. His ring cost more than my engagement and 2 bands put together. He is super excited. I just can't wait for him to wear it. Oh, and on the inside it will say: "put it back on Gillie. love, cristi"

DIY Invites
Im having a hard time choosing my invites. I seem to like many of them. I finally narrowed it down to like three different ones. I will be doing them since ive done many invitations before and its something i really like to do. I'll see if i can post pics up so you all can see. Let me know what you think. I'm going to make samples just to see which one i like more, but i will first get started on the Save the date cards since I will send them out by March 20. Are many of you going to make your own or are you buying them? I don't want to spend too much money on something i know everyone is going to throw away. I'd rather spend that money on something else. KWIM?
