Too many ideas??
Do you any of you girls ever feel like you have too many ideas? I like so much stuff I sometimes think it's too much. I just want to have a nice, original wedding. I really like to do things I've never seen done before.

Misc.
I went on a hunt for some misc. items I need for the wedding this weekend. I found 5 small round vases and 2 cylinder vases at Catholic Charities for 25 cents each. I then went to Dollar General and got 4 large aqua serving bowls for 50 cents each. These will be used for the snacks for the guests before the bridal party gets to the reception. I also got a few more bags of wedding confetti which were 75 cents each. I picked up a set of teal and brown baskets for $10. I think I had a good weekend!!

Bathroom Baskets
I've seen a few brides on here mention bathroom baskets. I have never been to a wedding that had one so I was just wondering how many of you were. Is there a significance in having one or is it just a nice thing to do?

Vent Time!!
Ok so I just need a little time to vent. Here at work there are 2 fellow employees getting married. They got engaged earlier this year but we are all getting married next year within 4 months! To add to this pressure I just found out my cousin got engaged!! Of course now I'm feeling the pressure to have the better wedding and try to make sure mine tops all of them. I really want to cry right now! I know that these things happen and people get engaged at the same time sometimes but it's really just bugging the crap out of me!!

Map
I really need to make a map for my invitations. If anyone can please give me some advice as to how to make these, I'd really appreciate it. I've read a post that had directions before but I got confused. The first photo is my map off of mapquest. The second if what I would like my map to look like. Thanks!

Bridesmaids
Gifts!!
I've started getting my bridesmaids gifts!! I found tiffany blue makeup bags at Bath & Body works for $1.99 and nail polish for 5 for $5!! I'm also going to get them each this bag to put their stuff in. You can find them on ebay for really cheap!!
I bought each of the girls a pack of tealights at Michaels for $1 each. |

Where to buy Invitation Cardstock??
I went to Michaels and Hobby Lobby last week and their prices seemed roughly the same. Neither of them had great sales going on either. So....I'm asking where the cheapest place is to get cardstock to make my pocketfold invitations. It can be a specific store or somewhere online. I just need to start comparing prices so i can get the best deal. Also, I live about 45 minutes from the nearest Hobby Lobby and an hour from the nearest Michaels so I always have to plan a trip to go. Thanks!

Since we are having our ceremony outside in the middle of August, I was thinking about letting our wedding party wear sunglasses. What do you all of you think? Have you ever done that?
**Update** I ended up ordering some cute aqua sunglasses from e-vanity. They were only $2.50 each!! |
