Wedding Invitation
I can't believe that its been almost a month since I last posted. Well as far as updates go we added another bridesmaid and groomsman bringing our total up to three people for each side and they have been awesome about everything. All of my girls have their dresses either ordered or sitting in their closets and only one more needs to be altered so thats almost done. My dress fitting is actually coming up next month its hard to believe I can't wait to wear it again!!
Time is going by pretty fast now its hard to believe Im only 159 days out and what to me is even more exciting I'm making my invites next Friday!! I can't wait I was so worried for the longest time that I wouldn't be able to find any that I like if it wasn't for Tim I would probably still be looking. Well happy planning everyone! |

Wedding Decoration
Decoration Supplies
First off if I had known that I needed this many wedding decorations I would have got a bigger apartment as mine is completely over run with stuff. Now on to the point of this post: What kind of things do I need to decorate my reception site? I have the stuff for my centerpieces, I have my linens, but thats it.
Since its halfway inside and halfway out should I put anything outside and if so what? I was thinking about getting mini tiki torches for the tables outside they fit in with my beach theme. Anyone have any ideas please? |

Wedding Dress
Weight loss tips.
I'm currently trying to lose about 25-30 pounds before my wedding mainly for health reasons but also because I'm just not happy with how I look. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to help keep me motivated and eating right. As of now I'm going to the gym five times a week and running at least 1 mile sometimes 2, I then move on to the machines and work on my legs abs and arms.
I try to do a different pattern every day but I'm finding it harder and harder to find the motivation to leave my house. Any tips or suggestions are very appreciated. Ps: the picture is a before shot of me trying on dresses. |

Wedding Reception
I'm so very excited I went in today and payed the deposit I'm just so relieved that I no longer have this huge weight hanging over my head. I can now go book my cake, schedule the ceremony time, and get all the other things that you can't really do without a reception venue. Now on to the most exciting news Tim's Mom wants to buy our flowers for us and she wants to go through a florist instead of ordering online like I was gonna. Also we picked out our cake design and we both agreed on it yay us. I guess I should be calling florists right now and getting ideas and prices. Ideas are welcome ladies...

Well its been a while since I've posted anything and I have a question for all you wonderfull ladies out there. My wedding colors are teal and ivory but I really really want bright pink flowers do you think that bright pink roses would look good against my girls teal dresses and my ivory one? Or should I mix the pink with some cream colored roses?
Also if you have ordered bulk flowers online how hard was it for you to put the bouquets together and did you practice before hand? If you did order bulk what website did you use? Thanks in advance ladies for any advice. |

I wonder if there is such a thing as too many posts in one day hmmm...
Oh well on to the point of it I found my dress and I *love* it. All those months of searching finally paid off and the best part I owe it all to my mom if it wasn't for her I never would have tried this dress on. Hopefully I will have more pictures of it tomorrow I bought it off the rack and it fits almost perfect it definitely has to be hemmed and the back needs to be taken in but still its mine. I never realized how short I was until I tried dresses on and had to stand on that little pedestal and the dresses still drug the ground I mean wow. |

First ever BLOG
Okay so as the title states this is my first blog I've posted and hopefully as I continue to post I will get better at it. I am currently 308 days away from my wedding and I feel as though I really haven't done a damn thing except buy my dress. I don't have a ceremony site to book since its public property and I can't apply for my permit yet. My reception site won't get back with me on prices so I can't move ahead with that. We do have our color scheme, cake design, and other small odds and ends done but nothing really big.
On another note I am only a few hours away from turning 20 years old and man I feel it both physically and emotionally. I think I've finally hit that point in life where its time to settle down and have kids and expand our family but I am in NO place to do that financially. I'm hopefully going back to school next year and we just can't take on the cost right now. I want a cat though I really really do it gets lonely here sometimes when Tim is at work or golfing or doing whatever it is he does and I think a little furball would be good for us of course the fact that our puppy cant live with us breaks my heart so I kinda feel like I'm cheating on her by wanting a cat. |
