Card box
We orginally wanted to use a old bird carge for cards but I found this on a web site. we need 4 frames 11x14 and attach them with brackets on the inside and make a top with a slot on the top for the cards to go in. shawn says he can make it with no problem. After the wedding you can take it apart and reuse the frames for wedding pics. I like the look of this more then the bird cage.

We went and did the guys tuxes this week. originally we were going to get the guys to wear black shirts and green tie and vest and shawn wear a black vest and green tie just to be a little different then them. When I seen the colors in person the green was just too different to make the vest green. So we decided they will all have black vest and shawn will have a pink tie. He didn't really want to wear pink but he is fine with it now. This way he will match my flowers too!

Wedding Hair Style
I am just not sure yet about the hair.
I really like the side pony bun thing that eva longoria has going on and I like the idea that you can see the hair in all pictures on that day, I really like the idea of it down but I think i will just end up fussing with all day if it's down like pic2. I really like picture one though and my dress is strapless so it would be nice to have it all up and some curls down but not sure yet....oh the decisions. lol

I got a call from the dress shop today and the girls dresses will be in mid june that is so exciting they are Alfred angelo in the Clover color with the fuchsia sash. I knew as soon as I seen them that I loved them and all 3 girls will look great. I can't change the color of the sash so just picture the sash fuchsia. lol. the green in person isn't so hunter green it is more like mossy color. I can't wait!

I am trying to find fuchsia shoes for the girls. I don't want them all to go out and get their own because there are so many diffrent shades of fuchsia they wouldn't look the same. So I found 3 pair that are the same color and close enough to my fuchsia but I am just not sure of the shoes yet. I like the first ones but I don't know if they are ok for October.... they are all from payless shoe store. so none are expensive.

The Proposal
such a surprise.
well I suppose I should tell you how it all started before I get to the proposal. I have lived probably 20 minutes away from shawn my whole life and never knew he existed. Although his father worked for my grandfather long before my time and his father was my dad's best man, I never knew him, which now seems very weird.
4 years ago I can remember a mutual friend of ours talking about him, not paying attention to it and can just barley remember him at a couple house parties. Then 3 years ago some of my mothers friends were picking on me about what a great guys shawn would be for me. I blushed but brushed it off thinking hes not my type and that was it. Then suddenly I would see shawn at diffrent places, I am not sure if all of a sudden we were seeing more of each ofther or I didn't notice him before. Any way at a birthday party for one of my friends he was there we started talking and had a lot in common. the next day we started e-mailing and then 2 weeks we started dating and 2 months later he moved in with me. It's like we knew each other our whole life we get along so great. Then Feb 23 he went with his cousin to get skidoo parts and came home then he was folding clothes and my cat ran up to me and was scratching at his neck and I looked at his collar and there was a note that said "Will you merry him he loves you very much" then the ring was attached to his collar and shawn got down on one knee and asked me to merry him. I never seen it coming. it was perfect! |

green cupcakes with pink hearts or flowers (both hard to find ) the decals are expensive might just go with green i want the icing to look like a soft ice cream cone like in the pictures. we want a funny cake topper one of these is what we were thinking. The days are flying by I can't believe it's coming so fast.cupcakes

so pretty love gerbera's everyone in the wedding is wearing them, my bouquet will have roses and cala lilies and the bridesmains will be all gerbera's with lilly grass and green berries can't find a pic yet of exactley what I want but I am sure it s out there.
