So I am having a panic attack. My wedding planner emailed me this evening after I sent her an email saying how excited I am that we are 5 weeks out and all of the final detail information that she would need... and I get back an email saying that she is no longer going to be helping me with my wedding.
Say what?
When were you planning on telling me? Were you even going to tell me and just not show up?
How am I supposed to find someone now to take over your responsibilities? What about the vendors that you told you were going to take care of "that" or "not to worry about it"?
What a shitty thing to do when I am out of province and won't be back until the week of the wedding.
Anyways, so that no one else has to go through this with her, her name is
Jenyne Nada (she sometimes goes by Willard) and she works for
"It's a Joy" wedding productions inc. for Hamilton Ontario.
If anyone knows of a wedding coordinator for the Hamilton area I could really use the help.
Natalie
Does she work for the company, or is it her company? If she works for them, call them up and go bridezilla on them til they make it right! l
If she owns it, call her up and go bridezilla on her! A small company's biggest fear is getting bad press or a law suit.
I would just check the yellow pages for wedding planners in your area.
Some people are so inconsiderate, even if she had a god reason, she should have contacted you immediately and at least given you the name of someone else!
"It's a Joy"
She was independent before hand, and was then hired by the above company. She assured me 3 weeks ago that this amalgamation would not affect my wedding. I then receive her email last night that she can no longer keep me as a client. I contacted all of my vendors to let them know about this woman and the company that she now works for (some are very unhappy as Jenyne made arrangements with them to help save me money, and all agree that she is now a representative for the company and should face the consequences of her actions). I've emailed most that were listed on Kijiji.ca nd my vendors that got the email last night have been great! Hopefully I can find someone... I mean I have already paid for her meal and gift.
Strictly offered advice and answered your questions, I did not plan or arrange any aspect of your wedding.
You never paid me to plan your wedding or signed a contract hiring me as your wedding coordinator.
