Wedding Budget
It is what it is...
So Ladies,
I have decied to stick with a 10K Budget! I am pretty sure of this choice since we have a baby on the way! Sadest part of my choice is I have to let my DREAM Venue go... I have gone over and over with my choice and the FH is keeping hope! He is such a sweetheart! BUT I don't think 15k for a 4 hour reception is a sound Idea... that would put our budget to 20k or more... Our family is always late and HUGE! I can't imaging paying a 30 dollar plate for a 8yr old. I tried to have an Adult only wedding but FH said that was out of the question... Does anyone else think I am making the right choice??? I really love that place but 4 hours just isnt enought time for anything! |

Hello WBC Brides? Miss me?
Well I've missed you! Here's a little update since I've last posted! We finally moved back to Houston, Tx!!! FH is working back with his original company! My stepson Marc is now 13 and we are expecting!!! Coming May 2012!!! So wedding will be pushed back to Nov.16,2013 to give me enough time to lose the baby weight and dress shop! We have a budget planned and been saving! We are so excited to finally be home and really get our wedding plans rolling! |

I have been trying to find ways to include my son (stepson) Marc in the wedding ceremony and vow exchange... He has been big part of my life for the past year and I want him to be apart of our wedding day. My FH doesn't get to see his son much because of his job, but every chance we get to have him is a blessing and my FH is the happiest ever... I can't imagine him not being apart of this most important day in our lives. First time marriage for both of us :) Any Ideas? Reading suggestions? Trinket ideas? By the way he is 12 and I believe my FH wants him as his Jr. Best Man... |

 My FH and I were talking the other night while watching SAY YES TO THE DRESS! Which I had to drag him in the room to watch! Just so I can get an idea of what he would like me too look like on our special day... I was never one of those girls who grew up dreaming about her wedding day. I am still YES, still shocked that I am getting married. While planning this wedding I have learned a few things about myself in the process! Planning this wedding had brought out this side of me that I had before but am starting to carry in my everyday life... I have this vision of me on our wedding day looking DROP DEAL GORGEOUS but in a way were its not over done but not under done... I want a touch of Sexy with a Classy look yet very very glamorous! What do you think of these hair styles???  |

Wedding Planning
ON HOLD...
 So today I have decided that I am going to put my wedding planning on hold. I will still post my ideas and if I start any of my DYI projects. My FH job is very unsure ATM. We were going to transfer and now we are not. Then my FH tells me about a job that should start right after this one and we will be in the picking to go... SO I was very excited about that. BUT till he told me with would be an 8 year project! 8YEARS LADIES! I don't know how much time we have between jobs so I will have to wait and see before I start putting deposits down. This makes me sad considering its only 29 months till the day. I don't even know if that day is going to steal be our day. I am just so worried that we will end up getting married by court and not having my family and close friends around. |

I'm Back!
Okay so I have been a bit busy this past month trying to qualify for my First Month Sales goal! Which I finally made it! Yea Me! Just a lil update I wanted to share with you guys! I hope everyone's wedding planing is going well! I have to put my plans on hold! If not I would have the whole wedding planned and done already! Had to find something else to do in the time being! Dress Shopping
ONLINE???
 Since my wedding is about 30 months from now! I have been so wanting to go dress shopping but don't want to waste the sales persons time with just going to try on and not actually buying! So I have been looking online and found some really AMAZING dress for this PLUS size bride! It's really hard to find dress that are beautiful for plus size girls... we are very limited! Which I think is not fair, considering there is a large population of plus size brides! So with this said... I have found some VERY GORGEOUS PLUS size dresses online! THE ONLY thing is... My wedding date hasn't been set in stone yet, we just recently moved out of state before my Fiance popped the question. We decided to get married back home once this project was finished. (estimated 2 1/2 yrs) I love all things Damask! When I started this adventure. I had never heard of "Damask" I always referred to it as Black & White Print! Go figure! Actually, my restroom decor gave me the wedding theme! I love the Black/White look. Very Elegant & Sexy! I had a hard time choosing the accent color and finally going with YELLOW!
