Wedding Budget
It is what it is...

So Ladies,

I have decied to stick with a 10K Budget! I am pretty sure of this choice since we have a baby on the way! Sadest part of my choice is I have to let my DREAM Venue go... I have gone over and over with my choice and the FH is keeping hope! He is such a sweetheart! BUT I don't think 15k for a 4 hour reception is a sound Idea... that would put our budget to 20k or more... Our family is always late and HUGE! I can't imaging paying a 30 dollar plate for a 8yr old. I tried to have an Adult only wedding but FH said that was out of the question... Does anyone else think I am making the right choice??? I really love that place but 4 hours just isnt enought time for anything!

I understand...I also, am on a 10K budget. Stay within your means if at all possible. Especially with a new bundle of joy on the way, you really need to be cost conscious. I hope that everything works out for you and God bless you during this exciting time!!!!!!

I cannot tell you if you made the right decision or not. The FH and I had a 17 month engagement so we could save for our dream wedding. You ultimately know what you guys can afford and I'm sure having a baby coming soon does put a dent in your wallet. I hate to hear you say you can't have your dream venue, but see if you can possibly push your date back or look for other venues. I truly believe every girl should have their dream wedding.
