Wedding Invitation
invites are in!
I just got my invitations. I ordered the black pocketfolds about 2 months ago. 50 of them for 35.99$ ( good deal compared to what ive seen) However the best deal was on the invites. I ordered them from zazzle.com. they were having a 4 hours, 50% off sale.... so i got 50 invites, 50 rsvps. and 25 extra invites for my fiance to give out during his drill weekends to his army friends...... ALL for 102.75$ including shipping and 125 envelopes.

Ive spent hours embossing the envelopes with a swirl stamp and clear embossing powder, and a heat gun. And the belly band i made with some 50% wedding ribbon from the hobby lobby and the monogram was provided by zazzle as well ( of course it says our names which ive deleted) along with where our names normally are on the invitations but overall you can see the gist.

I found my wedding dress online and fell in love. I searched everywhere and luckily one of the only places that sells it in michigan was 20 mins from my house!! i like the crystals and the fact that the one shoulders is all crystal flowers. In addition when i bought my dress they gave me 100$ in free assessories so i bought a crystal headband and had a bit left over for my shoes!!! I plan on doing a half up do with curls and I luckily just got my hairdresser and make up artsist booked for on site services with airbrush makeup and hair extensions included in the price : )

it was pretty hard to get a good picture of the placecard. I ordered some pre cut shapes off ebay, as well as black and white damask scrap book paper to construct them. I also added a glittery black ribbon edge and then a black feather and jewel ro fit in with my theme.As a last touch i bought a scrapbook border from the hobby lobby and created a scalloped edge on the bottom. Obviously they still need guest names : )

As far as our favors....we have decided to have one milk chocolate and one white chocolate truffle. One with his first initial and the other will be mine. I ordered the truffles boxes offline in bulk and have lined the inside with black and white damask tissue paper. when they are finisshed there will also be a a note saying thank you to our guests and explaining the flavors of our truffles....so far i think it will be white choclate rasberry for me milk chocolate hazlenut for him. yum

So heres my centerpieces. The rose balls are made of recycled wood curls to which i added on crystals and then I hand beaded the crystals hanging down and I am still missing more crystal draping. BUT HEY, i have 272 days to go! I have black and white damask table runners that will go on our black satin 132" round table clothes and i also hand made our table numbers. We are making use of the fleur de lis pattern everywhere. It may be hard to see but there is a black jeweled fleur de lis on our black stand that similarly coordinates with the large fluer de lis on our table number. In addition in CRYSTALIZING everything lol. The table number frame has a hand glued edge of crystals. The framed material doesnt picture well ut it is a black and grey velvet damask pattern.


And lastly i dont have a pictue because i havent constructed it yet but the centerpiece will be surrounded by three square vases covered in black lace with a cystalized brooch. each will contain 7 real red roses and fern curls. it should add a good touch. Ill post pics when i make my sample : )
