Wedding Reception
Table Names
My future husband and I are big time horse racing fans. We actually met at our local race course. My father was a jockey and Ryan is a huge fan. So it felt appropriate to do our engagement pictures there. I have posted some of the pictures below.
When it came to our talbe numbers\names we wanted to incorporate our hobby.. I met with my cousin this past weekend, she is the one that took the pictures.. and made 5 x7 of our pictures with past Kentucky Derby Winners.. (I borrowed the idea from a friend but spiced it up a little different)... I than went to the dollar store and spent 23.00 on 23 frames and they turned out adorable.. I have posted pictures.. I also got a 11 x14 picture for our signature frame, went to Michaels and got an adorable silver frame along with scrap booking pens for everyone to sign Tell me what you think Ladies 46 Days!-things are coming together.. I truly cannot wait! |

Ceremony
Programs n Program Basket
So I worked really hard on our programs the other day. It's so so aggravating to get everything centered and to look perfect. I looked at templates and did not really like any of them so I chose to do it the hard way..they are only on computer paper once everything is final..than we will finish them on nice card stock
They are adorable.. I wanted to share something I found online because it is cute. On the back our programs say: To our parents: Thank you for always believing in us and helping us to create this beautiful and special day. Thank you to all the ladies for their help on the signature picture frame decision... I have not decided yet but I will be posting pictures of our table numbers next weekend. I am heading up to my cousins on the 30th work on them. Our table numbers are going to be famous derby winners since we love the track!

Photo Session with my cousin Jamie
So my cousin came down this weekend and took some engagement pictures of us. My FH and I met at Turfway Park which is a race course. I was working there and he was an regular visitor.. so it was important for me\us to take our pictures there. Plus Turfway will always hold a near and dear spot in my heart because my whole family works or worked there and I grew up around the track.. They turned out really cute.. I hope you enjoy them!.. Which one should I use as my signature frame? There is one that I have my hands over his face just for pure fun..lol Enjoy them

Music Selections
So picking music for the wedding has been a little stressful for me. I'm really into music and just cannot pick my favorite songs, so I need your help ladies.
So I've included a play list so that you can help me choose! 1-6 prelude 7-seating of the grandmas 8-seating of the mothers, pouring of the unity sand by our mothers 9-bridesmaids walking down the aisle 10-little girls, junior bridesmaids, junior groomsmen, ring bearer-THIS WILL BE INSTRUMENTAL 11-13.. My song to walk down the aisle.. I cannot pick =( 14-15 unity sand, singer performs 16-20 after the big announcement |

Ring Ceremony

So once again still awake and searching for the most perfect songs.. I found another one called "This Ring".. I was thinking if possible, the soloist could sing this song after the ring ceremony.. this is when we would be hugging our parents and our wedding party.. or you could even show a small power point of you and your husband growing up at the reception or even before the wedding. I'm not sure I have the time or energy to put together a slide show.. but it's a great idea for you ladies! I guess it could even be a first dance song as well..
