Wedding Decoration
Sand Ceremony

So.. I just looked through my post and noticed that I did not post anything about the sand ceremony.. Ryan and I have decided to do a sand ceremony instead of a traditional unity candle.. I love the candle idea but I feel the sand it just as adorable and something different...and well I'm all about being different! Here is the reading

Officiant: (Name) and (Name) as these grains of sand are joined together, so are your hearts, your bodies and your souls in marriage

Now..hopefully whatever church we find will allow us to do the sand ceremony instead of the candle..

anyhoo, I was looking through WBC and found sand frames.. they are adorable..so we ordered one and it arrived a long time ago! But I thought I would make this post incase some of you ladies have not decided which way to go..It was a reasonable price.. I like 70.00 that included two colors of the sand, the hand made frame, the vases for the sand and shipping and handling..so really not a bad price!

I posted this on my blog as well...there are also DIY instructions if anyone is willing to tackle the project! I love the idea of the frame.

They were on Amazon.com for like $25....not sure if they are still sold there though...
