I Want To Know About You..

Hey there!

i canèt sleep either. so you are not alone.

Facts are:

1. 2 weeks ago I was up at a friends cottage. I have one to many drinks. I thought it would be a great idea to try and break dance. Well that did not work out very well. I ended up really hurtting my left thumb. I thought I broke it. After getting x-rays done. I found out I did not break it. I sprained it.

2. I have 2 kittens (8 months old), 1 dog and a turtle

3. I am an only child


1....2....3....... NEXT PERSON!

LOL! Girl.. a couple years ago I was visiting one of my friends in Canada for new years. It was SOO SOO cold (as you probably know since you are from Canada) and I didn't want to take my socks off. After a few drinks I tried to dance on a freshly waxed hardwood floor and my feet went sliding out from under me and I face planted right on the floor! I couldn't move I was laughing so much (as well as everyone else)... I'm so lucky I didn't break my nose or a tooth.

I'm glad your thumb isn't broken!

Definitely not alone on the can't sleep thing.. I'm also stuck awake at night.

Fact 1: I have two dogs, one good and one naughty but both sisters, two cats, and a ferret. I want more animals. My house is like a zoo.

Fact 2: I love my MOH to death and wouldn't want anyone else to be in that spot, but I am also afraid that she won't be there for me completely when needed. Right before my FH proposed, my MOH's boyfriend proposed to her. But it was forced. They have two kids together, been together forever, he wanted a motorcycle, she wanted a ring.. they made a deal. Not long after I got engaged, they broke up because her now ex is a dick. So it's a sore spot.. and I hope that since there is still a year and a half to our wedding, she will have time to mend. Whew.. long fact. Sorry.

Fact 3: This is a doozie, but it's something I chose to ignore and it's been eating at me lately. I have a four year old daughter.. but before her, I was raped, ended up pregnant, and had a boy who I gave up for adoption because I didn't think I could love him enough due to how he came about. He will be six in Jan. It was an open adoption and his parents recently contacted me to tell me they told him about me.. so it's not something I can just shove to the back of my mind anymore.

2. i love my future fiance future hubby more than life and in his shoulders is the best place to be

Good post!

1. I am addicted to exercise.  I love it, especially step aerobics and plan on becoming a fitness instructor one of these days.  

2.  I love school.  I currently have a bachelor's degree in commerce and an MBA and plan to eventually get my PhD - all in Human Resources.

3. I think my cat is secretly a person.  He talks and it's odd and he yells and its scary.  But I love him.

I love getting to know people too!!

1. I live in Canada and actaully LOVE snow
2. My Fh is my brother-in-;laws best friend
3. I have more passion for animals than I do humans

Hey Ladies...okay

1. I have a very unhealthy love of cake (chocolate and cheesecake being the fav!)
2. I love shoes and handbags
3. I am super excited about marrying and spending my future with my FH who've I been with for 8 years and love, love, love!!

This is a great idea!
1.  Like hashbrown I love snow and the winter, hence the January wedding date.
2. I love reading
3.  My dresm job would be an event coordinator.  I love planning.  Needless to say, I have loved planning the wedding so far!

Aww, I'm so glad so many of you have responded already! I LOVE reading your facts. I guess I should put three about myself! lol! It's only fair.

1. I have to touch anything and everything in a store if it has a texture. (ie.. if it looks soft, furry, silky, etc..)

2. I have had the same best friend for over 20 years now. We stopped being friends for about 8 months earlier this last year, but have recently reconnected and it's like no time has passed between us. I feel truly lucky to have had the same best friend for so long.

3. I lost my mother at the age of two and sometimes I get so so jealous of other people's relationships with their mom. I'd give anything to have her for just one day.

I wasn't going to do this....I was just going to read but here I go :-)

@jynnibelle - that is something that's hard to ignore.  Thank you for sharing something so personal.  I hope that works out for you.

Ok, here I go:

1.  I'm already married!!  I got married Aug. 7 yaaayyy me!!!! I made a page just to come on here and enter act with you ladies.  I'm addicted :-)

2.  I have a pitbull named Puddles.  I know people are afraid of Pits but she's gentle.   She's our bad rip into my shoes,  spoiled llike to be kissed on, snore and pass gas all the time baby lol

3. I'm from Baltimore (I haven't seen any Baltimore brides on here yet)

Hello Ladies!! This is a great post..

I myself:
1) Am a serious shopaholic my moto is " life is 2 short 2 not have what u want so buy 2 " ; )
2) FH and I hav 2 children ages 5 and 10 and he has a son age 9.. Yes he cheated on me. We found out about him when he was 6 ( process of elimination on her part ). During this time we had a ROCKY!!! Relationship but I hav now accepted the child as my own.
3) I LOVE!!!! cheese...

Here are three interesting facts about me:

1) I can say the alphabet backwards really quickly. I taught myself when I was a kid because my dad could do it and he would tease me that I couldn't.

2) I get choked up when Ellen DeGeneres surprises her guests with new cars and huge prizes. Sometimes I even get choked up during commercials if it's really sappy.

3) I'm doing my PhD now but I actually had a really rebellious childhood where I had a brief stint where I moved out of my house to live with my ex-boyfriend and dropped out of school for a semester.

Lovely idea! I love knowing more of the real women behind the names I see so often...

1. Most of you would already know but I'm AUSTRALIAN and kinda wished there were more of us on here. We don't have this "Dollar Tree" lol :( And Noone would recognise the stores I shop from!

2. I am the oldest of 9 children, all from the  same parents :) We are one ultra happy family, not deprived in any way :) Sure we had to learn to share and realize that we aren't the most important, but at the end of the day, we have so much love for each other we can't imagine if any one of us wasn't in exsistence!!

3. I actually met Jason online :) I hate saying it.. but it wasn't a dating website!! It was actually a penpal website that I joined to get contacts for my trip to Europe. My profile didn't even say I was single! I do believe I have failed to blog about how wew met and got engaged... how sad lol.

hashbrown- I have  a really good friend (and bridesmaid) who lives in Canada and she LOVES the snow, too, lol!

princessfortheday- My dream job would be in event planning, too!! I have absolutely fallen in love with planning my wedding that I seriously don't know what I'm going to do with myself when it's over. At least I still have a year to enjoy it!

lpharr- I LOVE cheese, too! I just can't have much of it anymore since I'm dieting! Ugh, I'm glad I'm seeing results, otherwise I'd go in there and take a huge bite out of a chunk of cheese.

macbride- Omg! I get choked up during commercials, too! Mainly those ASPCA (sp?) commercials where it has those animals in the shelter and normally "Arms of an Angel" is playing. Oh my, it makes me tear up just thinking about it.

hannikay- That's so awesome about all your siblings! I only have 2 sisters and we use to be close, but not so much anymore. That's awesome that you have such a close relationship with them.

 1.- I'm mexican and my FH is scottish, we met on-line as well not a dating site the site is wayn (where are you now) it's meant to be for people who like traveling. Then we started using messenger, texting we met face to face and since the first moment we just knew we are meant to be!!!


2. I prefer cold weather so i can drink hot chocolate and cuddle up my fh.

3. I sometimes sing and dance in front of the mirror like giving my own concert hahahahahaha!!!

Awe YAY I love these posts too!!  It's fun to read about our wbc sisters, I think it makes us all that much closer knowing these interesting facts about each other!  Mine are pretty boring, but here goes...

1.  I am the baby in the family - my two brothers are 12 and 14 years older then me.  My parents will NEVER admit I was a mistake (my Dad actually gets mad at me if I say it, LOL) but come on....but I'm okay with it - I have six nieces and nephews that I love dearly, and I wouldn't change it for anything!

2.  I am addicted to checking the weather forecast...I have an app on my phone and check it multiple times a day....wtf is wrong with me!

3.  I have an unhealthy love for vampire shows/books....Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Twilight...I always said I'd never ever get into it, but it sucked me right in.  Sigh.

I also have to say, I LOVEEEE the snow (always checking the weather for snow in the forecast) and I also cry at the SPCA commercials..I have to turn them off or mute the sound and bury my head in a blanket so I don't see those poor little animals...I want to adopt them all!

Ya I have trouble sleeping too, but thats cuz I work nights and sleep during the day....our bodies werent made for daytime sleep so its hard to get a good sleep =(

3 facts:

1) I have known and been friends with my fiance since the 8th grade ( we are now 26 years old). So we have no hidden secrets in our closets, for we grew up together =)

2) I am a pediatric RN, it is soooo hard and heart breaking to work with sick kids, I work with rehabilitation mostly brain injury, its so sad and so hard, but I must say its very rewarding when I get to see them go home and the progress well =) Being a Peds RN has really made me appreciate life more. when things get rough I tell myself how strong these little kids are to go through what they go through and they are so young and innocent, i appeciate and I am thankful for all the little things in life

3) I am the baby of my family and the first to get married and the only to graduate from college. I come from a low income family and my parents didnt have much money to put me through college, so I worked fulltime throughout the entire RN program, I never got sleep and didnt get to have much of a life ( which is why i love my fh so much for sticking by me throughout all this). I feel I had to work twice as hard to get through school, cuz RN school is NO breezer. My professors in nursing school thought I was crazy for working fulltime and thought I wouldnt make it through nursing school, and kept telling me to cut my hours at work. But financially I couldnt, if I did i would lose my care, my roof over my head, and definately couldnt pay for school. But I made with a B average, and passed my state boards on the first try...this is my pride, becuz people say it couldnt be done, and I did it =)

nursekc909- Good for you for sticking through working and school. I'm sure you and so many other people are so proud of you!! You're truly an inspiration! YOU GO GIRL!

@nursekc909 - you passed on the first try?!  I heard that test is no joke.....GOOD FOR YOU!!!!

Oh, I just stumbled upon this post, and must say that this site is awesome. I am happy to be a part of it :)
My three things:
1. I am originally from Russia, and immigrated to Canada 3,5 yrs ago. After 1 year of being in Canada, I met my FH, and this was the best part of it all. When I think of it, it was meant to be. I remember how hard it was moving to another country, getting a job, adapting, etc. etc. But when I met Mike, all of it seemed to make sense, because it was like I was going through all that for him.
2. I like many other brides have 2 pets. I grew up in a pet-less family (my dad claimed he had allergies :). And when I moved in with my FH, I became a mom to two lovely cats, Buffy and Monkey. They are adorable, and frankly deserve a separate post :)
3. My biggest fear with regard to my wedding is that my parents and brother won't be able to come because they won't get their visitor visas. I hope it won't happen, but I can't help but worry about it every day. Just in case, I am getting ready with "webcasting" my wedding to my family and friends, and definitely would ask them to make a speech, even if it's only via webcast.

2. I just had brain surgery, but you can't tell because NOTHING keeps me down :)

1* I played flute for 10 years

2* Ive had severe depression for about 6 years as well as insomnia

3* I HATE being out the "wilderness" I cant stand being dirty in anyway, Im terrified of any bug idc how big, how small, how cute, pretty or ugly the stupid thing is Im terrified (i even have a bug vac that sucks them up so my  FH can take them outside later!) Whe my hands get dirty I can breathe if they are above my waist so all in all camping, hiking, being outdoors, sooooooooo NOT my thing! City girl all the way!!!

2. I am working on my 2nd Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. The first was in photography.
