Wedding Dress
Help Me Decide, Please!

For those of you that have been following my blog, you know that I am gettng my wedding dress custom made.

I have to send in some measurements the first of January so she can get to work on it, so I have until then to be 100% sure in my dress decision. While, I'm 100% on the type of dress I want, I'm not 100% sure on a couple details.

So.. here is what my dream custom dress is based off of.

Dress #1- My original dress that my dress will be based off of. (A little simple.)

So.. I thought abou taking the bottom of the dress (the ruffled tiers) and adding it to the top of dress number 1 (REALLLLY similar to the dress titled "#2 Up close".. just with the crystals on the shoulder strap). The ruffled tiers is so fun and fits my personality and gives the dress a little something something.

If I can get some opinions from you lovely ladies on a couple of things, I'd greatly appreciate it.

1. Ruffled tiers or no?
2. Should I leave the crystals on the strap or go for the flowers on the strap and hip?
3. Should I have a thin band of crystals around the waist or something else or nothing at all?

Any other thoughts or opinions are greatly welcome, too!!

Thanks ladies!

I LOVE the ruffled skirt! Such a unique but classic style, and very fun. I like the look of crystals on the neckline-or strap if that's the route you are going. As for the waist-I would say either strap OR waist. With the ruffles, crystals and strap-adding another detail may be too much. Really pretty thought!

Hey!! The dresses are both gorgeous!! I totally agree with you, the ruffles definetly add a something something! i would SOOO go for it. Personally if i did the crystals on the waist i would also keep them on the shoulder... I dunno, but i thing having flowers on the shoulder, crystals on the waist and ruffles at the bottom might be a bit too much.... i think it might not all blend nicely together!
Good luck!!
p.s. who is dress #2 from? i love it!! LOL

Thanks, girls! You are really helping me.

girliegirlbride- It's Maggie Sottero called "Madelyn Rose" I actually found in on the knot and weddingbee, but it's not on her site anymore. I actually think the dress has been discontinued, but I'm not sure.. I can't find anything on it. They do have the one without the strap that I have listed as number 2, as well. I think it's on her site.. it's called Madelyn, I think.

I love the idea of the second skirt with the first top. I would do it with crystals. I think flowers would be to much with that ruffled skirt. I love both dresses and I'm sure yours will coem out beautiful!!

Thanks for the help!! I think I'm going to go with the top on the first one (with the crystals on the strap and a THIN band of crystals around the waist) and then the ruffled bottom!
