Is everyone doing Save The Dates?

I was just wondering if everyone is doing these?
They seem to be a good idea. When should I
send them out?

i'm not---but i'm also not having a big wedding.  I did send out an email to everyone attending.

I am doing save the dates as magnets for the fridge.  I have had a couple sent to me and I thought they were a really cute idea!  I am having a pretty big wedding and we are planning on sending them out about 3 months before the wedding.  Hope this helps:)

I did send them out, about 8 months in advance. We are asking them to travel the weekend after Labor Day, so we wanted to give them plenty of notice. We are sending out our invites next month, so people have had plenty of time to see if they can make it, and all that. Hope this helps!

I'm sending out save the dates, probably 6 months before the wedding because alot of people are traveling from the east coast & mid west.
