We are just getting a guestbook and having people sign them. We are also doing a photo booth so that we can have that as keepsakes.

instead of signing a guest book that will prolly be forgoten about in a few yrs we are doing a guest tree so the idea came from the finger print tree where ppl get to ink their thumbs prints on to a tree thats is drawn so they look like leaves and they sign them. we are not doing the green ink cause it can get too messy so we are getting cutout leaves for our family & friends to sign then they will be pasted on our hand drawn tree that will be later framed and hung in our home for yrs to come :)

We are putting a photo of us up with the matte frame. We are letting everyone sign the matte frame instead of doing a guestbook. After the wedding I hang frame the picture and hang it on the wall instead of it being stuff somewhere like a guest book would.

I do like the guest tree idea that fairytalebride has. That is very creative!

We did a photo mat and also a guestbook where the guests answer different questions about the bride and groom- it was a big hit! I ordered ours from the guestbookstore.com you should really check it out if you're looking to do something different!

this picture you posted is guests signing fabric squares! this is what we are doing for our wedding.....instead of the traditional book that everyone signs, you end up putting away and never looking at... we will have the a well wishes quilt table set up! we will request everyone sign a square, write well wishes, wedding advice or a memory of us....the squares will later be patched together into a quilt! for years to come we can have this quilt on display as a memory of our special day! :)

baduden, I love love love that idea! We are doing the fingerprint tree where people will leave their fingerprint on a tree I painted on canvas then sign their name next to it.

We're doing the fabric squares also! My mom is going to sew all the squares together to make a beautiful quilt for us. she is buying all the fabric now!! we'll have our fabric table set up at the reception hall, but we'll also have a traditional guest book for the guests to sign at the church.

I'm not doing a guest book. It would be a waste of money for me.

I may do the picture signing mat....maybe. I have a Hollywood Theme wedding, so guest will be walking the red carpet and taking pics in front of our step and repeat when they come in (so that's my guest book lol).

I like the idea of the finger print tree...that's really cute.
