Inspiration Board
4rm Fall to Summer Love
One life adjustment indirectly affects other aspects of our lives. With this in mind, we made a transition from a fall wedding to a simmering hot summer wedding in Houston, Texas (chocolate wedding to a burst of blue). The board represents the cool and elegant look I am seeking for that special day. I am a little disappointed regarding my recent separation from my FH. Disappointment
Has anyone been disappointed lately? Well, I am back at the planning phase for my wedding. Several weeks ago, my FH was told that he would be leaving to serve overseas..... Well, he left for training on November 16 and will return December 23. Then, on Dec. 26 he will accompany me to Virginia. I am scheduled to meet with my psychology department to brainstorm my dissertation topic. Soon after that he will depart for duty on Jan. 5. The sad news, is that he will not return before our scheduled wedding date. Oh my goosh, my heart simply hurts with disappointment! With this in mind, we had to postpone the wedding until 2010... I love him with all my heart. The only thing that will keep us sustain within this relationship, is the relationship we have with Christ. It will not be an easy transition for us, but staying focus on the Word of God will keep us focused and waiting to join as husband and wife. I look at our transition as a test of faith!

i am very excited about creating my first inspiration board. The monogram "E" repesents my soon2b new name-English. Yes, those fall colors represent my earthtone personality. Guys, i do admit creating my daily blog serves as a stress relief. Through all the woes of life, the exhausted energy of being a single mother, and the stress i am feeling from my doctoral program, I need something to relax my mind.

Hurricane Gustav
Well, if you don't know by now our Gulf Coast states are waiting to see the effect of Hurricane Gustav. it's only been 3 years since the tragic event of Hurrican Katrina. How many of our brides2b community will be affected by this present hurricane?

i am interested in a box cake. this picture is simply a replicate of what i selected:
I will add sugar Calla Lillies (flowers-redish orange); all layers with have a lace design; the entire cake will sit on a orange-bronze marble platform. Now, my FH is a musician and his cake will be a guitar 1. his cake resembles the photo. the only difference.... 2. his cake is all red with a swirl beige affect. What do you think about my cake vision? i warrant any suggestions as well!!!!!. |
