Your hair is gorgeous! With or without extensions it will look great. I like the eyeshadow, just a lot of mascara like you said and maybe some more smudgy eyeliner on the top lid and the eyeshadow will look right just as it is. I think a little eyebrow waxing to give them more of an arch would open up your eyes.

Beautiful curls :) I think your right about a bit more mascara just to make your lashes pop but very subtle and beautiful!

I think a tiny bit darker eye would be better cause you're doing a pretty pale lip. I actually think the eyeshadow is too light. More eyeliner, mascara, and have her darken the top outer corners a bit to add some depth to your eye and extend the smoky liner (very slightly) beyond the eye. yay!!

Your hair very cute! Makeup ummm not sooo much to me all i can see if eyeshadow as u said looks like black eyes.Sorry just being honest!.I think you need some eyeliner and more mascara!

Ok I have to be honest because if it was me I would want someone to be honest.... As a hairstylist and makeup artist I have to say...

Your makeup I am sorry  but i would honestly find someone else.. I think it is horribly unflatering on you...You are much prettier than this makeup is making you appear.  i think you  looked better on your profile picture to the right.

I dont know if maybe you are sunburned or have tanned with  glasses on but there is a alot of shadowing on your face...and the forehead is too pink. Which either way could have been resolved with the right bases and contouring she didnt get your skin an even tone prior to adding in the color. there is a very light ring all the way around yours eyes and brows.

I agree I think  get a little work done on the brows to open up your eyes more would help

Your right about the eyes the coloring she used makes you look very tired and washed out and then the colors under the brows are too light and dont go well together looks almost like browns pinks and silver and white.

I think your eyes need to be more dramatic but in a more natural way..

The brown eyeliner is too light it needs to be deeper.. she also has not applied it consistently  and with the way your eyes are smaller you do not need eyeliner on the bottom... I would just do the very bottom outer corner... not doing the whole ring around is going to open your eyes up much more
If you are wearing mascara in the picture i would reccomend lots of black and i think fake lashes would do a world of difference for you.


I do really like the lip color on you though

@ futuremrsharless- thank you for being honest,i'm going to bring your thoughts to my make-up artist on the day and make sure they get it right!!  unfortunatly with only 2 weeks left i am stuck with her but i can become a little bridezilla if necessary.

Dawn I am so glad you didnt take my comments as offensive.. I was very hesitant as to give you my honest opinion. lol your hairstylist might get a little offended though because all your problems are her fault. So i dunno if you wanna show her or not lol!  That a bummer that your stuck.. I hope she gets it right though... is another trial run possible?

I do have a couple of other suggestions... that i think will help.

Show her pictures of a couple looks you like.  I am thinking you should stick to browns and neutral shades because your skin has alot of pink undertones all on its own.

Make sure she uses  a little heavier coverage foundation on you to make sure your skin tone is even. Its a step that can make a drastic difference.

Google Images and look at  Brown Smokey Eye  and look at some of the softer more subtle looks  I would do something like that on you but like i said you really only need to concentrate the liner on the outer corner i would not go all the way around your eyes

Wear a white shirt when you are getting your makeup done.. because your dress is white and different colors can look better and show up better with

LOL opps i meant your makeup artist might be offended lol your hairstylist did good unless she was the same person lol

Also tell her to keep any darkness away fromthe underneath of your eyes.... take her the photo in and show her how your makeup photographed thats whats most important of all

@gracefuldove well if you lived in TN I would love too... I dont get much work for makeup in this area just seems like most brides and prom girls would prefer to do their own or go to the dreaded makeup counter LOL... just kidding some of those ladies are good too
