did anyone buy their dresses based on picking it from a website without trying it on ..... if so did it work out??? I have my dream dress picked out from alfred angelo website and i have seen it in pictures of other peoples weddings but the dress store in my area does not have this dress in store to try on espically since I am a plus size woman they don't have many dresses to try on ......... I'm pretty sure the style is what i need and would look good on me ....but everyone says don't buy until you try it on ........what should i do??
I hightly recommend trying on a dress with a corset back ,especially Maggie Sottero dresses. Every dress I tried on from her line I swear took 20 lbs off!
I however, would not beable to do that. I'd be way too chicken something would go wrong.
When I was dress shopping, I traveled to just about every store in a two hour radius looking at different dresses. I ended up finding the perfect one in St.Louis MO (about 3 1/2 hours from me) The dress I found just happend to be one I had saw in a bridal magazine, but never thought I'd find it to try on.
Anyway, if you are comfortable buying one online- go for it! But depending on how many dresses you have tried on, you may want to try on a few more to make sure that is the look you want.
