Wedding Reception
Summit on the Park
So Ive chosen Summit on the Park for my wedding and reception venue. Its a great place, the reception room is in neutral colors so it will not class with mine ;) I posted the sample menu with the cost. Im only having about 125 guest so its within my budget! Im saving close to 20% because Im having my wedding on a Friday night. That is allowing me to up grade the bar to the next step up from a call bar. I will place my deposit just after the new year, Yea Im using my financial aid money so appropriately LOL

Wedding Budget
My colors are Ivory, Black and Gold. I am on a strict budget of $7000. This will not include my gown. I found a terrific place for the right price to have both the ceremony and reception. To keep the price down I have hired a friend who is a DJ and another friend who owns a photograpy business. This has definately helped to keep the cost contained. Still looking for my dress and bridesmaid dresses.
