What will be your "something borrowed"?

Hi Girls,

My "something borrowed" will be my best friend's gloves! Her wedding will be just 20 days before mine, and she also will be one of my bridesmaids, I was so happy when she said that she will borrow it to me!!!!!!

So, I want to know what will be your something borrowed, and who are you getting it from?

I'm borrowing a tiny brooch of a mouse from my mother that we're planning on pinning to the inside of my crinoline. It's sort of my tradition- any kind of major event, I wear a charm, brooch or something of an animal. When I got confirmed, I wore a frog instead of a cross. Now I'm getting married, I'm wearing a mouse. haha.

My "something borrowed" was my oldest sister's handkerchief that she carried at her own wedding (as "something blue") a decade earlier.

I haven't picked out my dress yet... but if it goes with the dress it will be a double strand pearl necklace from my grandmother.  If it doesn't, then some earrings from either her or my mom.

I'm hoping if the necklace works out that it will go from being "something borrowed" to something mine after the wedding. :-)

your on the right track!! something borrowed is supposed to be from a married woman (it brings the Prosperity  of her marriage to yours)
i lucked out with my something borrowed a friend of mine bought the same veil i loved.. so its going to be my something borrowed!
