OMFG! This is the funnest, cutest wedding related movie ever!!

I mean NOTHING disrespectful by this, I promise. I just read a post that mentioned..."They can wear it again"...and I lost it! I was cracking up! I am so sorry if I make anyone mad...LMAO! But sorry.

I SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT MY BRIDESMAID DRESSES! And so did every bride in this movie and probably this site!! And the famous, "they can alter it and make it short to wear again."

Sad/funny part, they probably won't! Of course they will agree with us, they are our closest friends, and they love us! I just had to post this. Lucky groomsmen and their rented tuxedos!

Again, NOTHING bad intended on or to anyone, it just so damn funny if you've seen the movie!

I love my bridesmaids!!

If you get a chance, have a movie night with your girls and watch it together!

There are always new brides on here and I want to make sure they get this info, you know me, always trying to help!!

I know many of you are looking for a veil and suffering the cost. I have a woman who's name is Meg Brenchley. She sells veils on ebay. I contacted her because I didn't know what I needed yet. I knew it was going to be cathedral length and cut edge (just simple for me). I told her I wasn't sure if I needed diamond white or ivory. She sent me samples and I was able to compare it to my dress and pick the correct color (ivory). I notified her and told her I needed it to be 108" and she did her thing. I got mine on one plastic comb, but I'm sure you could ask for metal or multiple combs if needed. I paid $36.00 total, including shipping (mind you it was simple and the more complex, I'm sure alittle more cost!)!! I recently contacted her again and asked if I could hand out her info for any of you to contact her. Just let her know what you want/need and she can give you a price!! Her email address is:

My Wedding day! Not all smooth sailing....but well worth it!!

April 26, 2008 - Up by 6:30 AM - too excited to sleep!
Hubby was up at 6:00 AM (sam reason) drops off too cute starbucks drink (never saw him).
Popped the Champagne around 10:00 AM and ate fruit basket. Started hair around 10:30 AM, mine around 11:00 AM.
Started over twice, I think, on my hair (my real hair wouldn't stop poking through the extensions).
1:00 PM my Best Girl Meka did my make-up (MAC). I used silver & black to go with the wedding colors.
Florist calls at 2:00 PM and she's at the hotel with flowers and no one to get them!
Call hotel to tell them to let her into my room to store them...well my room was NOT ready! I snapped and got bridezilla with it.... "WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GET READY AND DRESSED, I'M ON MY WAY AND I HAVE NO ROOM!!! IT'S MY F****IN WEDDING DAY!!" (MY words exactly) Then I was in tears (mind you my make-up was already done)
Somehow, just then, my room was ready, florist left bouquets there.
Get to hotel @ 2:30 PM go to room and room keys don't work! Run back to front dresk and get new keys.
Photographer was sitting on a bench, waiting for instruction, when he should have already been in the guys' room taking pics of them getting ready!
Girls get their dresses on, jewelry, and bule temporary tattoos, andtouch up make-up
3:00 PM (I think, I have no clue at this point) I want to get my dress and jewelry on...SHIT!! I LEFT MY EARINGS AND BRACLET AT THE BEST GIRL'S HOUSE (Very upset, no time to go back). So I borrow earings from one and a bracelet from another (still upset this very day).
Time to get the dress on..... my hair got caught on the straps, I freaked out inside the dress and my face rubbed on it! Finally got in it!!!
Tracy calls and no one can find the pre-filled 24oz. bottled water (I have OCD for stuff like that) for the centerpieces (later to find out Jesse left them in his car and insisted he didn't have them)
Tray made do with the hotel water :( I was just trying to make it easy on her and perfectly even filled glasses.
Then stood around for awhile, took some pictures and got in the limo and away we went.
Bleeding Love was on the radio and I blasted it as loud as I wanted and sang on the top of my tone def lungs.
Got to the ceremony site WAY too early (30min) and hardly anyone was there. I refused to start the ceremony until 5:15 PM (start time was 5:00 PM)
The ceremony site was beautiful, exactly as I wanted it, with few suprises from my kick ass florist that I wasn't planning on getting due to budget. So it was nice to sit in the limo and have time to check it all out and watch people arrive with anticipation.
Once I saw Jesse I cried.
Bridal party got down the aisle, then cue my music, exit the limo for my grand entrance and nothing else mattered in the world at that very moment! :)

Reception was great, food was amazing, drinks were flowing.

Then for our first dance, the music began and the words were not the right words... It's starts "Rely on me, to supply your needs from now on...." Instead it said, "Rely on JESSE, to supply your needs from now on..." Then the artist came on over the song and said how he wishes he could have been there to sing to us on our wedding day, sent us well wishes and then the song went on! The greatest gift ever!!
My bro and the artist cut a special track as soon as he found out he was going to be on tour with Van Halen and couldn't come to the wedding. My bro is the best and so is Ryan Shaw!

After the cake, boquet toss (Girl Fight by Brook Valentine for the song), garter toss (Jesse did a lip sync and dance to Foxxy Lady by Jimmy Hendrix, for me, from Wayne's World), more dancing, and keg stands (yeah, we did keg stands at the end)... we went to the tavern/bar on site and kept the party going! Then on to the resturant at the hotel for breakfast @ 3:00 AM. Both places, my brother got everyone's attention and announced us again... "For the first time here they are, Mr. & Mrs. Jesse & Debbie Vigil, give it up people!!" It was awesome. Then my crazy bridesmaid fell drunk, flat on her face!!!

And that was our wedding day! :) So worth every moment!

And after all that, all I could think about was posting pics for you all on this web-site!!

And she took pics of the reception site too!

I made the centerpieces (Tracy the decorator out them out for me! and each table had a different pic!) Oversized martini glass, clear rocks, and that's right.....stuffed martini olive floating candles!!

Don't you love the cake?? The bumble bee on top is for my daughter (her nickname is BEEZ!)! All the kids were in aww of this cake (the adults loved ot too), they kept asking if it was real and if it was edible! They were excited!

Here comes the bride.....ME!!!!!! My bro & my daddy walking me down the aisle to the most wonderful man alive...my hubby JESSE!!!!

The bridesmaids dresses are platinum, not blue like they look in the pics (After six), they carried white & green hydrangea bouquets! The Best Girls is from Nordstoms and her bouquet was a smaller, scaled down version of mine!

The guys' tuxes were from Men's Wearhouse (platinum rio vests for groomsmen, black for best man, and charcol for my daddy & bro) and Jesse's was ivory (different design - swirls or something paisley looking)

Did I mention that I had the most KICK ASS FLORIST?? She hooked me up with my headtable piece, pedals down the aisle, transported EVERYTHING to the reception site, and took ALL of the pics I will be posting!!! She was going to do the chair decorations for as well, but Jesse knew how much work I put into my pomeanders and told her he wanted my balls on the chairs. She understood AND bought them all from me!!!

This is the ceremony site... I made the pomeanders!! FAKE FLOWERS BABY, can't tell huh? No one could! The pics are kind of dark in some, but at least I can post pics!!! My wedding done in just my style!

Just gift ideas for bridesmaids.

First, I asked them to be in my wedding with a personal card and a gift wrapped box with a bridesmaid tank top. (Didn't say bachelorette party, but same writing, and a martini glass)

For my bachelorette party, they took me to Las Vegas. There I gave them each a personalized monogram pink flask. (They go on sale all the time at the wedding channel store for $9.99!) I also gave them a pack of wine glass charms (vegas theme - also found on sale - wedding channel store) and a penis ring pop!

The gifts I gave them on the night of rehearsal, were the monogram make-up bags (good size too), inside was a different mirror compact for each personality, necklace, earings, and temporary something blue tattoo (put them on our hips) for the wedding.

Haha! We're lushes!!

I didn't want big poofy curls, don't like the traditional looks, but I like the bun look. Told Shannon to mix it up and rock out crazy and BAM! This was perfect!! Unlike any other I've seen!! Suited me and my tastes perfect! And my veil fit into the top of it perfectly!

But taking it out on the wedding night, oh my arm cramps! 67 bobi-pins later.... but it held ALL night.

And it helped that my stylist is also my freind, was at the wedding, and watched it like a hawk!

My Husband is the sweetest man alive (thanks to his mama). The morning of our wedding, he dropped off to my Best Girl, (we didn't see or talk to eachother) my favorite drink, passion tea lemonade from starbucks, with my name for the day on it, "BRIDE." His said, "GROOM"

I woke up at 6:30 AM, couldn't sleep (the hubby said he was up by 6!) slipped my engagement ring to my right hand, and was ready to rock!

We spent the night at my Best Girl's house and in morning we were snacking on fresh, amazingly tasty fruit (ediblearrangements.com) and drinking several bottles of champagne (yet, I never caught a buzz?).

Then one of my bridesmaids mother, did everyone's hair...FREE! We made sure they tipped her :)

My stylist of 8 years did my hair. My daughter, Beez, went to a children's salon, Bambinos, to have her hair done! She had her mani-pedi done the day before the wedding!

My make-up was done by my Best Girl, Meka [mee-ka] (she ALWAYS does it, I hate putting on make-up myself)

Rehearsal is a must to a perfect wedding day! My pics are reminders for brides to always have a smile on your face!!! AHHH! This is the order we walked in. And yeah, you're not going crazy from wedding planning, we had a grown man as our ring bearer!!! He's also our "cupid." Two from our wedding party didn't show, but it was all good!

Then we had Hawaiian food catered and drank A LOT!!!!

I say "were" because WE'RE MARRIED!!!!! DAMN I LOVE THAT!

Thank you so much for all the well wishes! I will give ALL the details as soon as I get a chance! (I am at work ;) ) I should be getting some pictures from family this weekend and I will post ASAP!! I deleted most of my posts to make way for the good stuff!!

At work and bored. Off the subject of wedding, but what do you all do for work??

I am an x-ray technologist at an outpatient/urgent care in San Diego. After hours I am a mama to a beautiful 7 year old (who just turned 8 on May 2) daughter, Leah.

My Jesse is a staffing coordinator at a home health care angency and does promotions with my brother's radio station here is San Diego on the weekends.

If anyone is in the San Diego area, there is this dress shop in Chula Vista off of 'H' Street & Broadway, called Little Kids. OMG! I got my daughter's flower girl dress for $36!!!!!! They have TONS of dresses. I mean TONS, and a lot are the same that you see in magazines and some are cheezy. No web site :( but great prices and choices. The one we picked out, I noticed had a dark spot, and I asked if they could order a new one for me to buy and they had it at the store 4 days later!! They are so the BOMB! Check it out!
