My favorite new facial product! Have any of you already tried this?

Ok, so I went and had my first facial at a spa a few months ago. Ahhhhmazing! I told the lady doing it I probably wasn't going to buy any of the facial products because it was out of budget.

I know the proactive topic came up a few times. Most had great results and some not so great. But here is another option.

At the end of the facial I was told about Cetaphil face wash. I bought it, use it twice a day and had/have good results. My skin is not sensitive but kind of oily.

The next thing she said to do was exfoliate 3 times a week, BUT to use BAKING SODA, put a small amount in your palm, add a few drops of warm water (enough to make a paste) and use it on my face (avoiding eyes). You have to just play with the amount of baking soda and water. I tried it in the shower (got a taste on accident - salty...duh). I left it on a few seconds, rinsed it off and my face felt SOOOOO damn soft!! I am totally in love with this new use for baking soda.

I just wanted to share it with you all! Again, I have normal to oily skin, not too sure how good or not it would be for sensitive skin. And don't try it too close to your wedding, I would hate for someone to have a reaction or something... but if you've got a couple months or so, give it a shot!

Thanks for this Debbie! I am keen to try anything that will make my skin smooth. I have pretty good skin usually but the last few months' stress played havoc with my skin and I've got quite a few pimples and blemishes now. Let's see how it works! Thanks again.

Baking soda is GREAT for your skin. It is probably one of the most versitle products on the market. From being a water softener, to a great toothpaste alternative, baking soda is a product eveyone should have.

The reason it makes your skin so soft is because baking soda is a natural substance that's in all living things and it helps regulate pH levels. It's great for self tanner prep too ;)
