I saw this looking up ideas to do a photo booth. I'm still not quite sure how it works. I like the idea of the photo booth but I was thinking of using the webcam for the guest to leave video best wishes for me and FH and have it set up like photo booth I should be able to save the video messages on a DVD ... or maybe have both don't know what to do so confused has anyone done either what should I do ?

If you have a webcam, then you have your own photo booth at your fingertips! Check out this cute French Web site, laphotocabine.com (that means "the photo booth" in French), which will take photos of you from your computer and then create a photo strip for you -- just like you see at the mall, amusement park, or boardwalk, except for free! You can download the strip and then email it to friends or post to Facebook.

If you don't have a web cam (many new laptops have them built in, so double check), the application won't work -- but find a friend who has one and then get your funny faces ready to make all the photo strips you want. Print them out to decorate your new locker and notebooks!

and last but not the least my damask card box for 13.99 . I will be spray painting the ivory into white and the gold into black I will also be adding a damask design to both front and back were gold leaf are currently and FH will be making the hole on top . I specifically chose the bigger box because after the wedding I want to be able to use as my wedding keep sake box . I know a lot of couples have either lost or had damage happen to there beautiful items for 1 thing or another. I hope this helps me avoid those issues ..

My friends at work are really wonderful. I told them I was trying to lose weight for the wedding and they also said they wanted to . Well one of my friends she is so wonderful I am not just saying that . She is always trying to help someone not just the callers but also our coworkers. She came up with the idea of a weight loss challenge kind of like biggest loser . everyone paid $60 bucks it was paid within 3 paychecks so $20 every 2 weeks. We had 10 that entered myself included and well I not only lost 21lbs but I also won $600 it was done over 2 1/2 months I work out till this day 3 times a week . Thanks to the contest I have not been so strict on my diet so I need to get back in the game with that but I have not gain any of the weigh back do to the continual of the exercise. See that's why I say she is wonderful I have great friends. The money yes you guess it ! Is save in the wedding account since the reason I entered was for the wedding it only seem correct . It will most likely go towards the dress but not all .

SO THIS BRINGS ME TO MY DRESS DILEMMA
I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this but me personally I can't see myself spending that much money on something I will only use once. I guess a lot also has to do with the fear of over spending . Yes I want to have the wedding of my dreams since the first time around I didn't have 1 and I do not plan on never, ever doing this again! I have to think pass the wedding and we are also saving to purchase a house of our own and on the house I will splurge since that is not just for me ,but for our family. Is anyone else thinking this way about the dress ? Oh and is anyone else getting a 2nd dress for the reception ?
FH was telling me about getting a 2nd dress so I could be comfortable but that had never crossed my mind I only thought of finding the perfect dress ! since I only get to wear it once and when I finally come to a decision on a dress . I am sure I will not want to take it off . Is anyone also thinking this way ?


QUESTIONS
1) Not over spending on a wedding dress and how much are you placing as your dress budget ?

2) Is anyone going to have a 2nd or reception dress?

I LOVE MY JOB
Before working for 911 I was taking supervisor calls for an insurance company I have always been very strict by the policy type sorry guys. I follow the rules. In the insurance you and the customer has to follow the policy. So I hate having to ruin someones day by telling them not covered. The reason I got into customer service was because I enjoyed helping the customer and I just didn't feel like I was helping anymore .That is the reason I guess I enjoy what I do. I love a job that pays you for doing the right thing. I get rewarded not by a thank you. A lot of times they can't, they don't have time , they are to nervous, in shock,scare or situation does not allow it . But by knowing that since I answered that call I help save a life or catch a bad guy. I can go on and on so I will stop now for your eyes safety LOL .The only issue is since people depend on us we are essential employees and a lot of times we have to put our job 1st. So when I am home I try to spend as much time with Kiddo's and FH that I forget to come back and post. I having being taking vacation time since I am saving for FH surgery and also wedding. So no vacation in over a year is hard when you are planning for a wedding. I guess I will work on it during recovery time for FH ,while he is resting.

My little and only sister had 2nd baby and as my only sister has been with me my whole life I made her my MOH .I of course threw her the baby shower and was her coach. I didn't know before there was such thing as a Pregozilla. Be careful it comes as a surprise you think 1 minute everything is ok and ! WHAM ! you turn into crazyness. I have 3 children of my own so I can understand being pregnant trust me but no. There is no excuse for how she was acting. I had to do everything for her up till the last minute. My FH and even future mother-in-law, and brother-in-law were helping instead of taking care of our wedding projects that was scheduled previously 3 months later. She did not get registered until 1 week before the babyshower .Which threw everything out of whack she didn't have a theme. She wanted to spend her time with "Useless" that's my new nieces father by the way and of course not his real name. I call him that cause he doesn't have and is not looking for a job. My sister does everything in there relationship from cooking, cleaning , working . She didn't work during her last month but she was still having to deal with him meaning. He didn't help her and this is his 3rd child of course not with my sister . So "USELESS" is putting it kindly. She still not helping me with the wedding not because of my precious beautiful , perfect niece but because she is glued to his tush pardon my language. She put's "USELESS" before my nieces and that to me is not right. They have not been together that long actually off and on 13 months and she was pregnant 9 months . I wouldnt care if she was with him for 2 weeks and he help her and she didn't help me than I would be upset she wasn't helping but I would understand . This here I do not understand . Sorry for the venting had to get this out feeling better thanks you guys are great.

On my previous posting I had listed I had purchased somethings for my old wedding theme and thank god they were all glassware . The were actually vases on the picture shows fake flowers I was going to purchased real roses for the wedding I had also purchased some light boxes that shined red blue and white you can't really see good on the pic . We were thinking of arranging them something like in the first pic. Of course different linen and dinner ware . On valentines day we got to try out the vases they only fit about 2 and nothing else, they also kept tipping over they were depressing to look at . I had purchased 20 of them I didn't want them to go to waste like a lot of brides must stay within a budget . After noticing a lot of brides were using candle sticks I decided to try out the vases. I really like how they turned out and the height it gives them I don't know if I should add anything to it I will be having some different sizes .

Ladies I was viewing some posting and I came across " gabail's" I love her centerpiece idea. I think it may work with my project and colors she gives me hope thank you gabail's . I will check out Michaels today and hopefully have some updates for you ladies next week wish me luck .

Both me and my FH were born in ARGENTINA ,In BUENOS AIRES to be exact. I previously wanted and all white wedding with crystal's and some minor silver. But I think BUENOS AIRES theme makes a more reasonable theme for us. I want to incorporate tango in it of course but also the scenery . The culture the structure . Yeah I know I am in for a roller coaster ride,But I like a challenge. As you can see from the pictures. There is a lot of red,black in the wedding and even a little vintage look . I was previously feeling weird about having or using black for a wedding but that was before looking through some of you ladies posting it's amazing. It actually really works not only that but is beautiful . I fell in love with Damask after viewing some wedding posting it is so beautiful I cannot belief I was even thinking of having a wedding without . Yes ladies I have become a Damask Bride ! Please Please Please if anyone has any ideas I can incorporate into my theme please send them to me . I will truly Appreciated .

We had previously made plans to get married on out 4th year anniversary but due to bad fall I FH therapy not working it looks like he will be having back surgery soon. I just hope he feels better soon I hate to see him in pain ,I don't mind the wedding pushed back I was super stressed with this wedding,planning for our future, new additions to the family and I also work for 911. I am really thankful I feel like I can
breath again . I had a really hard time making a decision on a theme.Well it looks like since I have time I purchase something's I will have to figure out how to exchange or fix. Some things were purchased at Arnies warehouse. Houston brides I sure you know about Arnies. They have great prices very economical but you have to be absolutely positive on your decision because on the receipt it states NO REFUNDS NO EXCHANGES. I am not sure if is on all purchases so just beware before completing your purchase and ask cashier. I had a very nice cashier when I went.

I met Victor it will be 4yrs ago on 04/17/10. Within weeks he new we would always be together. I myself had 3 children and previously married and he had none had never been in a serious relationship over 6 months. So when he ask what I would say I told him I would run the otherway. He proposed anyway and I didn't quite runthe other way I told him no. I stayed away from him for a while you have to understand I am divorced .The word married was erased from my vocabulary and I was happy with that. He except the no at the time and he said he would wait as long as he had to. We continued dating once what I thought was a scary issue was over . He was always at my house After about 11 months he started to spending the night he would go to work and come to my house he still had everything at his placed would bring his bag with clothes for work and leave from there. Still I wasn't ready for him to move in with me completely . On 03/15/09 we got and apartment together finally we moved in together we were leaving as husband and wife .So on August of 09 when he asked again .He was so nervous and it started with " babe don't get mad " , I know that before it was to soon but I love you and I know that you love me. I will be here with you regardless of your answer but you will make me the happiest man on this earth . If you accept to become my wife and of course during this time that passed .I learned what he knew when we met that he is the mad of my dreams and I also want to be with him forever . I will be marrying the man of my dreams. The man that came to be my best friend. Who will act silly to make me laugh. Who will do whatever he has to so I am happy. This man who treats my children like his own, cooks, cleans, helps the kids with his homework. Who will go to work without sleep for being at the hospital next to you when your child is sick. During this years he has not only proved to me and all of my family and trust me my family is very hard to convience , they said "it's about time" . That he will not only that he has been a great father for my children but also he will also make a great husband .
