Bridesmaids
The girls hair
So i was searching for styles for the girls. And i came across this one. I really liked it, its the new style i see everyone wearing, and i thought it would go great with the age group i have. The only thing is the stylist didnt know if the braid was on both sides, so she thought she would mix up the style and do everyone different, so one girl has a braid on each side, one has one going down the ride, another on the left and i think one of them didnt have one at all...but they all looked great regardless!

Wedding Cake
grooms cake???
Is anyone or has anyone done a grooms cake?
See the thing is, our wedding cake was sparkly and girly. (mainly my ideas) so i heard of the whole grooms cake idea and thought it would be super cool if i got my fiance one as a surprise for the wedding. something just for him. So i contacted our cake lady to see if she would be able to do one for us. Once she said she would be able to, i then e-mailed her a few pictures of some ideas i had in mind. Being so far away (shes in NY and Im in AZ) i decided to draw the cake myself and fax it to her. So that way we were on the same page and i was getting exactly what i wanted. Once she gave me the quote, i was like LETS DO IT! My husband loved his cake, and he loved it even more once i told him i specifically designed it for him! What a blast and the best surprise for him at the reception! Check it out! |

Wedding Photography
The photographer was my biggest investment
Well i dont know about any of you ladies, but i wanted some amazing pics for my wedding. So i knew i would have to pay a price....and i DID! UGH but i knew it would be worth it...2 weeks later and i only have 3 pics from my photographer, but im giving her all the time she needs if they are all going to be this beautiful!!

Wedding Flowers
Bought and did my own flowers
Yep so you read it right, I purchased and did my own flowers! Think im crazy?? NOPE...I spend $500 on ALL of my flowers...centerpieces and bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres....all for $500....ya it took a little more of my time, but who cares? A florist wanted to charge me over $2,000 to do what i wanted...HA looks whos laughing now...lol
Well all i can say it was worth it. and i ordered my centerpieces from Fiftyflowers.com and roses from samsclub they have pre made centerpieces...doesnt get any better than that... (although i my venue didnt place them properly in the vases) They still looked ok... So here are some pics of my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, and my daughters bouquet |

Wedding Favors
Cheap favors!
I wanted to do the candle theme. So i was looking everywhere for cheap candles and holders with out breaking the bank! I came across quickcandles.com
They have everything possible!! You can choose what shape candle holder, what color, how many, and then what color candle, floating or regular and scented or non scented! (we opted for no scent bc if they are burning all night, you dont want to make anyone sick with over 100 candles burning!) Highly recomend them! I got 144 square frosted candles and holders shipped to me for about $150. Thats a great price for the holders and the candles together! Perfect size for favors too! Then i went on ebay and purchased custom lables that fit perfect onto the front of the candles! |
