Bridal Shower
Bridal shower is around the corner!

So my bridal shower is approaching fast. Im so excited! So i have been looking at ideas for centerpieces and came across this one while browsing the internet. Love it! Its cute, simple, pink and DIY. Total me! Ok so not my actual wedding colors but why not have some fun at your shower?

So the colors for the shower will be hot pink and black. Since times are hard, i decided to go with fake flowers instead of real for these. I stopped at dollar tree and picked up some manageable ones. Mine will not look exactly like this one but close. Ill post a pic when i get it all complete :)

Love the plates set up, so we decided to get hot pink table cloths and black square plates with hot pink smaller ones on top, then damask napkins. I hope it looks awesome!

LOVE it!! My mom is hosting my shower but I'm the 'party planner' as they say so she has asked me to do the decorating which I'm totally cool with. We are doing a black and pink Barbie/Victoria's Secret  theme. I wanted Pink satin table cloths, with arrangements of white and pink daises in bubble vases at each table. I was going to also make the votives with black ribbon and pink crystals, white frames with pictures from when I was a little girl at each table and accented with hot pink ribbon. I also found hot pink and black feather boas that I think would accent the tables! Black plates and napkins. And Pink Sangria as a beverage with wine glasses and custom charms.(was thinking of little barbie heels?) I'm doing all the cusom stationary myself. and making advice for the bride cards and also the cards for the Charades game. Haven't 100% decided on favors but was thinking of a 'lingerie care kit' in a box with a sample of lingerie wash and a lingerie wash bag. Or maybe mini bath cupcake bombs? Door prizes could be Victorias Secret body lotion or something like that.. So many ideas! Hope it turns out as good as I see it in my head.. lol Sounds like yours is going to be beautiful as well! :)

Very cool, Yes its so hard to not have control when you are a DIY person! I can totally relate. My FH keeps asking me "i thought you werent supposed to do anything for your shower?" Lol i keep telling him im not throwing my own shower, just helping :)
I feel so helpless when im not involved, its my passion so i love to do this stuff even if it is my big day, i cant help it ;)
