This is devin714's Green Wedding!

I made personalized cards with poems and pictures of me with each of them. I mailed them and they loved them.

I also made a newsletter to keep all of my bridesmaid and hostesses posted on what is going on with the wedding. They recevied them at the first bridesmaid meeting I had at my aprtment and we went over it in detatil, along with their attire. We had a light lunch and mimosas and everyone got a chance to meet. It was a great way to start off the planning.

We wanted a small gathering with close family so that they could meet and get to know each other. We booked a small room at Giordano's and invited about 20 people, only family, had dinner, and played a couple of cute trivia games about us as a couple. Everyone had a great time and families really bonded.

Bridesmaid dress ordered on Saturday, April 18, 2009. This gives us enough time to have them back for alterations. i love the dresses. They are Bill Levkoff #903 (Maid and Matron of Honor have different style numbers). They are sophisticated, yet sexy with the mermaid style skirt tie in the back. They will be in celadon green.

After a long and tedious search for the right photographer, we were able to narrow down our search and selected Essence Photo & Video in Schaumburg. They have great photographers and a really good package. We selected the photographer we liked the most from several portfolios and have already decided the album we want. It was right in our price range and we couldn't have asked for more inclusions in our package.

We were engaged on Valentine's Day of 2009 at McCormick & Schmick's. When he gave me the ring, I was shocked. I knew it was coming, but not at that moment. I love my ring and can't wait to get the band on our wedding day.

We found a place we absolutely love! It is Venuti's Banquets in Addison, IL. It completely fits our theme of a being elegant, yet modern. We are having our ceremony and reception here and we can't wait.
