Ok ladies...
I am lost when it comes to my jack and jill! My FH and I will be putting this thing together with the help of the MOH.
Now where to start...
We booked a venue that holds approximately 70 people and has a bar cash bar and the owner will be adding an additional $1.00 on the drinks so we can make a bit of a profit off the drinks.
Now what im confused about is the games and stuff! I got this far but i need some serious help!!!
Any suggestions?????

I am so sorry weddingbycolor brides, its been so long since I blogged but so much has happened...

My cousin died of a head anerism! Then 3 weeks later my aunt died of pancreatic cancer then 2 days after that, my uncle died from liver cancer...!!!!

I'm a mess!!!!!

I basically have put all wedding planning on hold for almost 2 months!!!

I have been dealing with the many deaths in my family and have been trying to be there for my mother who has lost so many siblings....

I have my uncles funeral next week so after that, im hoping I can re-focus and try to work on my wedding diy's!

It is so true when people say "bad things happen in 3's!"

I'm so glad that my families faith is strong or else I dont know how we would get through this time!

This is our energy filled puppy, Gucci! He is a 5 month old Labrador Terrier. We got him when he was just 6 weeks old and he is like our baby!

We chose to get him because we both grew up with dogs in our families and we want our children (when we have some) to love animals just like we do.

Now... Gucci is our life and my FH really wants to incorporate him in the wedding, but im nnot exactly sure about that!

He will be 13 months when we get married. My FH thinks he will be old enough and calm enough to attend the wedding ceremony but i dont want him to bark while were saying our vows... what a disaster!!!

Im not sold on the idea but he is so cute and i love him to death and he would really make our ceremony unique!

What should i do???

***Just keep in mind that our dog is expected to weigh 100 POUNDS when he reaches his full size!!!! and he should be about 60 pounds by our wedding****

Ok... my FH and I are having 200 guest at our wedding. We both have very big families and now we are in a little stiff. A co-worker (who i was planning on inviting to the wedding) asked me who i was planning on inviting to the wedding. I listed off quite a few people then told her that I was only inviting my co-workers, not their spouses/partners. She then made a huge fuss saying "that is so weird... i've never been to a wedding where I was just invited and not my boyfriend! You should re-think that!"

So my question is this... is it rude/weird to invite my co-worker and not their spouse/partner?

My FH and I really wanna make sure that our wedding is majority family and we decided to have 2 tables at the wedding for our coworkers. My FH decided to invite 5 co-workers and their spouses and i decided to invite 10 co-workers without their spouses.

I feel really terrible knowing that I only want to invite my co-workers and not their better half but if I choose to do it like my FH, then some people that im close with at work, wont be invited.

I absolutely love my unity candle! Its simple yet very bold! What do you think?

UPDATE: when my unity candle was all said and done, i noticed that i didnt use a chapel style candle!!!!!

so i have re-posted an updated pic of my unity candle with a chapel style candle...

the 2 thin candles are a bit small for the vase, which in turn are wobbling a bit... any tips on how to keep them still?

Ok, I did my wedding invitation mock up and after several trials, I finally found the invitation style I like! Its hard to see but the white paper is embosed swirls which is sooo pretty!

So after looking at so many wedding pictures and ideas, i've decided to create a navy blue, green and peacock theme. I really like this idea! Cant wait to start my DIY projects!

I feel like im finally making progress with my wedding! I booked my reception venue and the church and im meeting with the photographer next week! Things are finally getting a move on but why do i still feel like im behind on things? Is this how im gonna feel until the wedding gets closer?
