Crystal Wedding Trees
Centerpieces for reception,and alter decor.
I WILL HAVE PICS UP TOMORROW OF THESE...let me know if this helps, or what everyone thinks..!!!

im doing 14 crystal trees...10 smaller ones for centerpieces, and 4 large ones for church,etc...im not doing the traditional one though...instead of the long crystal strings (i guess thats what you call them) i bought a ton of pendant like crystals...like big 2-5inch lonch crystals, (acrylic) and attached them with very skinny pink ribbon.. i just didnt want that much bling...just enough.. well im also adding pink flowers to myn but i wont be able to do it until the night before the wedding... what I did..

I got clear vases
put green floral foam (cut to fit containers) in the bottom
i bought pink/clear crystal,diamond, decor..
put it around the floral foam (i made it about 4' tall)
i put my white spray painted branches into the foam
i also got some very skinny white/with a glittery sheen, curly
branch looking things at hobby lobby,(they are in the floral
dept.) stuck those in there to
covered the rest of the foam with remaining crystals
strung the crystal pendants, all various lenghts, and put them on the branches ( i used 12-15 for the smaller trees) 20-25 for the bigger ones)
i then took just a dab of super glue and put a dot where i attacheted the ribbon to branches, and where i had tied the ribbon to crystals, just for added support.

I did one tester but like i said wont be complete till wedding and ill post pics then..

but i filled the vase with water, and let the floral foam absorb water, (about 15 min wait time) then filled back up...

i just stuck my flowers randomly in the foam. (im using alstromeria lilly's) the flowers are a little shorter than the tree, but not by much bc, i only made my trees for centerpieces like 2 feet tall...
