Wedding Decoration
Centerpeices
So I have been working hard on my centerpeices. We will be haveing 3 different options.
5 crytsal trees 10 candleabras 10 low black vases with white flowers. Candelabras I got at Michaels and added the 10"pillar candles along with the aqua beads. I also found the black vases at Michaels and I plan to use them for both the candelabra centerpeice and the low floral centerpeice. I put ribbon in the low one just to give you an idea. Also I put my BM jewelry on the vase to show better detail. I got the BM jewelry from www.kymjewelry.etsy.com I will be using the crystals from shopwildthings.com but I used random martigras beads I had just for this picture. It looks trashy in the picture but I think once i get the real crystals and put my flora lights in the ylindar vase it will look much better. Hope this gives someone inspiration =) |

The wedding shop
So my basement bedroom has turned into a wedding decor shop. I thought I would take some pics to show you guys what I have been up to.
1st pic- wrapping paper I picked up at target end of the season lat year. I plan to wrap my BMs gifts in this paper and wrap aqua ribbon round it. 2nd pic-vases I will be using for centerpeices. Used 40% off coupons from Michaels. 3rd pic- Jewelry for BMs and pashminas I plan to give them. Since my wedding is in Novmeber, brrr! 4th pic- My fiance and I are very rock and roll, these will be our toasting flutes. I found them at Marshalls. Last 2 pics. I have to give 100% credit to babygirlnaenae! She is my wedding day twin and I found this idea on her blog. She is the most creative person I have ever seen! Martha stewart better watch her back! Flip flops end of the summer sale last year. Basket I spray painted black and wrap damask ribbon from Michaels around it. Thank you babygirlnaenae! |

Wedding Invitation
Invitations
So my invites came in so I thought I would share. They are amazing. The photos do not do them justice. I wish I had a better camera so I could show you better details! I had Rozena from Etsy shop Runk Pock.. She was very fast and very affordable. Check her out she has some great designs and great fonts. Hope this gives someone inspiration =)
1st and 2nd pic are our outer envelopes with wrap around damask label. Love them! 3rd pic is what you see right when you pull out the invite. 4th pic. When you turn the invite around it has those 3 peices. Invite, RSVP and direction card. On the back of each item says our diana&kevin. 5th pic is the RSVP evelope. It is going to be sooo fun seeing those little aqua invited in our mailbox everyday! I plan to send them out in the next 2 weeks! It's crazy! |

Rehearsal Dinner Dress
So after my usual weekly trip to Michaels I went down the block to Marshalls to look for any candles or good deals I might find. I found this amazing dress and thought it would be perfect for my rehearsal dinner. It is Calvin Klein and I got it for $40. I googled it today to see if I got a deal and Nordstroms is selling it for $100. So I am feeling a little better about my splurge.

Bridesmaids
Dresses
So I recently decided that my Bridesmaids could pick out their own BM dress. As long as it was long and Black and made from the Jasmine line. Now that they are all ordered I am soooo glad I did that. They are all so cute and completely reflect their personalities. I can't wait to see them all on!

CANDELABRA
I have been looking for black candelabras forever! And finally found them at Michaels. They are out with the halloween decor. They are beautiful and if you buy it with a 40% off coupon you can get them for $15. I am going to buy 5 and put them on my head table. I will be putting white candles on them to go with my black and white theme! Sooo excited. Hopefully it will help someone else out there who loves black and white!

Unique Lamp
SO I saw this lamp at target the other day and thought it was soo adorbale. They had it in black and clear beads. My whole wedding is black, aqua and white and crystals everywhere. Including 6 crysal tree centerpeices. We thought maybe 6 of these as the other centerpeices putting candles on it instead of lithbulbs. We were going to set them on a black circle pedastal to get them a little taller on the tables. Just thought i would share =)

It's been so long since I have been back! This place has been such a great avenue for ideas and advice, it is truely amazing! I thought i would update what I have gotten done so far. I have been really lazy about the wedding but finally ordered my invites from an Etsy seller. LOVE ETSY! Rozena is the seller and her site name is Runk Pock.
She totally took our spin on rock and roll formal and turned has similar visions as me. I can't wait to see the finished product! AAHH I cannot get the picture to load! I will have to work on it and get back to everyone! |

The dream dress!
This is the dress that I am in desperate need of. I saw it and now have transformed my whole wedding around it! I have become a google freak and I am constantly looking for someone selling it. The craziest thing is that I cannot find a single bridal store in MN who has the sample dress. If anyone lives anywhere in MN or WI and knows where they have sample you would be my saviour! I have to post a picture of it because it is soooo beautiful!
