In the previous post I let everyone in on the new item I have added to my business, Creative Couture, LLC, which are my bridal towel cakes. I just had to share this fun bridal towel cake that was made for a client as a bridal shower gift to a bride who is getting married in Hawaii and had a Hawaiian themed bridal shower.


Cake included: 4 large body towels; 3 hand towels; 1 washcloth; 1 mini bottle of Malibu Rum; 1 mini bottle of Ocean vodka; 1 mini bottle of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum; 3 pairs of Victoria's Secret Panties; Glass storage jar (top of jar not in photo); Pair of Swarovski crystal rhinestone flip flops; Fun coconut bra; Nutrition Facts tag (not in photo).

Alcohol is for 21 years of age and older. Please drink responsibly.

Bridal Towel Cakes!

As some of you know, I started my own business, Creative Couture LLC almost a year ago now. I create unique items such as diaper cakes, baby sock cupcakes, custom baby wipe cases, and Swarovski crystal items to name a few things.

I have now expanded, and am now offering "Bridal Towel Cakes." These are great for bridal shower gifts, bachelorette party gifts, centerpieces for either of these occasions, or just a fun congratulatory gift! I have even had one use it for a house warming gift. Towels used to create the cake can be from the wedding registry, the color that will match the couples bathroom/home, or just a fun color you would like to have your cake done in!

Check out the photos of a "Chic Couture Bridal Towel Cake" that we made for a client. The client wanted: pink, feathers, chic, classy, couture, fun, and flirty for a bridal shower / bachelorette gift.

Cake included: 3 body towels; 2 hand towels; 3 washcloths; Pair of Swarovski rhinestone flip flops; 3 pairs of Victoria's Secret panties; 3 spice jars; 1 bottle of Nuevo L' Esprit De Paris; 1 Mini bottle of X Rated Fusion Liqueur; Nutrition Facts tag attached to cake (it lists all "ingredients" (items) that are in your creation). I can't believe that it has been so long since I have been on here! It brings back SO many good memories of planning the big day, and researching ideas and seeing what brides are doing. I miss it. Next month will already be 1 year we have been married. It literally flew by! Amazing year!

Hello girls! Thank you all for you AMAZING compliments and emails on my wedding and my photographs. You are all just wonderful!!!!!!

I have had a lot of inquiries about quite a few of the "wedding items." Some of them I do want to hang on to and hopefully pass down to a daughter or even a son someday. I would love to sell everything, but I am a super sentimental person.

We did it! We're married!!
I can't not believe how super busy it got before the wedding and how long it has been since I have posted!!! I want to write up a whole nice post, but wanted to just give you all a quick sneek peek! Our photographers were AMAZING! She just gave us a quick 'sneek peek' of some of a few pictures. We can't wait to get the rest of the pictures. Hopefully we will have them by Sunday!

This dress was out of stock and I was so disappointed until today when I found out it was back in stock! I think with gold jewelry, pearls and strappy black shoes it is going to look awesome! I hope it fits! My rehearsal dinner is out-doors so I wanted sleeves so I wasn't too cold or had to put a jacket on and cover my entire outfit up. I can't wait to get it!!

Bridal shower!
I had a FABULOUS TIME at my bridal shower! My girls did a fantastic job and I couldn't have asked for anything more! Well,...the only thing I could have asked for more of was time! It flew by, and when it was over I was so bummed and wanted to do it all over again!

My shower was at a hotel and everyone dressed in semi-formal attire. It was great to see everyone all decked out and looking girly and fab. I ended up with about 40 guests at my shower. The entire shower was a surprise to me. The food was great, music was great, cake was AMAZING, and the game we played was so cool! The girls interviewed my fiance' and recorded him with the video camera. They brought out a projector and a screen and a question popped up on the screen, example...How many kids does J want? A) One B) two C)three? Then I had a letter "A", "B" and "C" card and had to hold it up. I had about 10 seconds to answer and then it went to the live video of my fiance' answering the question and of course for every answer he had some hysterical comment to say! The guests loved it because it really showed him and his personality, and it was fun to see if we were going to answer the same. It was a blast!

We did a honeymoon registry for our trip to Maui, and got just about $1,000 for our honeymoon at my shower! We also did a small registry at Bed Bath & Beyond and got some great stuff, and of course the girly lingerie, along with some cute personalized gifts like albums, frames and vases.

I'll attach some pic's from my shower. It really showed me how fast the day of the wedding is going to go, so just milk it and soak up every second!!

1 month and 4 days until the big day!! Eeeee!!

Bridesmaids gifts done!
I finally found the final piece to my bridesmaids "gifts." As you can see in previous posts, I am giving them their swarovski crystal flip flops, track suit and the final gift is jewelry for their dress. I don't have a photo of the earrings, but they are just small hang down earrings with one medium size crystal. Since I am wearing bangles with my dress (see my bangles in a few posts back, I also posted them to the left), I figured I would like to get them bangles to go with their dress as well. I found these super cheap at Forever 21 for like $6. A photo of their dress is also in a previous post. The peach/pink colored bracelet is one that I bought for myself to go with the Sue Wong ostrich feather dress (see previous post or photo to the left) that I will be wearing at my bridal shower. I got that bracelet for I think $5! If you are looking for costume jewelry you have to go to Forever 21! *My bangles in photo are not from Forever 21. Those were a hefty couple of hundred dollars, but I just had to have because they match my dress perfectly!

Blackstone is a very private and secluded place that sits on the side of a mountain. It is just beautiful. It's a new place so no one really knows about it and none of our friends have been married there let alone have heard of it. It has my style: tuscan look to it, archways, detailed architecture, and has what my fiance' likes, scenic views, privacy, extremely spacious. After going to 12 venues were so excited this is 'the one!' It's everything we could have asked for and more! There is a beautiful resort 8 minutes away from our venue that has a huge pool, spa, horseback riding, etc. for us and our guests. I've been on A LOT of wedding websites, but I have found the best ideas on weddingbycolor. I love planning my wedding (even though the price tags give me heart attacks!), but it's the greatest once in a lifetime experience and can't wait to share it with everyone!
