This is dndbride's Green Wedding!

I'm only having a Maid of Honour (no bridesmaids) in my bridal party. I was thinking of either the colour champagne, cafe, mocha or sage for her dress. We both really love this dress. What do you think of it for an outdoor wedding in June?

I am 100% stuck! I cannot come up with a colour combination for my wedding. I'm going bonkers over this decision. I'm a designer so things like choosing the correct colour are very important to me. The colour that I choose needs to tie in with the invitations, the dresses, the decor, flowers etc. How did all of you come up with your colours? I think the colour of the reception room walls is throwing me off. The walls are robin's egg blue. The carpet is chocolate brown. It is a summer wedding as well. Need help please! :D

Yay, I finally found my dress! After trying on dress after dress all over Ontario and Michigan, I finally found *the one*. It is a Maggie Sottero 2008 Limited Edition. It is a strapless, corset-back, a-line dress in raw natural silk. It's so beautiful, I love it! The only snapshot that I have of it is of me in it in the changeroom. Unfortunately it looks a bit sloppy on. I was trying to hold the back of it because it was four sizes too large.

We chose Hockley Valley for both our ceremony and reception. There are so many positives, the first one being that none of our guests will have to travel in between locations for the ceremony and reception. The second pro is that everything is so beautiful, especially the tent that we will be getting married in.
