wow am i behind on blogging....my beau....proposed on March 6th 2010! he completely surprised me....it was the day of my sister in laws baby shower and we also had scheduled to see a wedding venue later than evening, well i was feeling bad about leaving the baby shower so told FH to just cancel appt but he said no that he lived too far so we had to take advantage of him being in town...
well i was reluctant but we left to the jefferson street mansion in benecia, a girl dream wedding location! its gorgeous....and we got a tour of the location, after the girl was done she told me shed hang on to my camera to take pictures of us so we could get a feel for the venue, but then she went to the bathroom, i thought maybe she was trying to steal the camera haha...well FH wanted to go the third floor where theres a balcony overlooking the bay and a beautiful orchid garden as well and there as the sun was setting he asked me why i loved him, and he told me why he loved me then as he bent down to kiss me i felt him reach for somethin that was stuck in his inner jacket pocket, my heart mustve stopped for a second as i realized what he was doing....then he gets down on one knee and asked me to make him the happiest man ever and marry him!!
AHHHH!!! OMG!!! i couldnt believe it....i even asked him if he was sure i was soo surprised, i wasnt expecting him to propose for some time....
so of course i told him yes a thousand times after asking him if he was sure haa....
then after the lady who gave the tour gave us some time alone she came out to the balcony with champagne and congrats.
after we left on our way back to the baby shower i asked him if my family knew and he said no it was a surprise, and i was itching to text them!! but he told me to wait....then all of sudden he gets a migraine! he hadnt had one in over 5 years!! eek so we pull over on freeway and i have to drive, i told him we should get go to my house so he can rest but he insists on going back to baby shower, so as hes having a full blown out migraine we arrive and SURPRISE! a suprise engagment party is going on for us with both of our families...i just FH duck and beeline for the bathroom where he was sick all night vt and with migraine :(.....while i tend to the family, the funny thing is that every saw his expression as he walked in and my concern and thought i had said no to him! haha
